We're electing a President. This is the stated religion of the declared GOP candidates (most are Christian):

Donald Trump - Non-denominational Evangelical
Ron DeSantis - Roman Catholic
Mike Pence - Evangelical Catholic
Nikki Haley - Methodist
Tim Scott - Non-denominational Evangelical
Ryan Binkley - Non-denominational Evangelical (Pastor)
Doug Burgum - Unknown
Chris Christie - Roman Catholic
Larry Elder - Christian (Calvary Chapel)
Will Hurd - Unknown
Asa Hutchinson - Christian
Perry Johnson - Non-denominational Evangelical
Vivek Ramaswamy - Hindu
Francis Suarez - Christian

Saying "X is a Christian" doesn't really reduce the field much. We don't need a President to be "a Christian", but to support and pursue Christian principles (pro-life, anti-child mutilation) and defend freedoms for Christians which is the ability to live out our faith through worship, work, and raising our family.

Democrat candidates are summarily excluded because they because they, by nature and practice, are militantly opposed to Christianity.

I'm not some supporters.
My reply was given because I hear that Trump supporters are said to see him as a Savior, rather than simply a reasoned choice based on his policies verses those of his opponent.

Who are these mysterious supporters that no one can point to but apparently make up a significant part of his base?

I don't see Trump as a Savior but inflation and the border was much better under Trump, along with the stock market, until covid came along during Trump's last year in office, which I'm convinced was no accident. The Biden administration regime is an absolute nightmare!!!

That's the point. Detractors of Trump don't want to give legitimacy to him but since he has so many supporters their reasons for choosing him must be delegitimized as well. Hence...basket of deplorables who smell and shop at Walmart.

Yes. And that makes Trump a reasonable choice.

You're right I should have said,IMO some Trump supporters look at Trump like a savior.
I'm sure there are some and I've found you to be someone seeking truth and understanding. But most people who vote for Trump believe he is the more beneficial choice for them.

Whenever Trump has a rally so many people show up that it looks like a Woodstock concert. Biden has a rally and it looks like a PTA meeting in the parking lot of Walgreens. Yet Trump lost the 2020 Presidential election? Now we are stuck with a dementia patient and an imbecile! :(

As much as I believe the election was stolen, God still chooses leaders. I think it behooves us to ask Him why.

And Pence isn't presidential material. Is that what you're saying? Anyone who votes for him isn't voting for the man but for a "savior?"
His campaign ended when he said that America is not his problem. He is not going to win the nomination so pointless to discuss him
