I believe if they give their will over to Christ, it will stop them from thinking they are gay. That doesn't mean they won't struggle with their flesh, but the Bible says we can overcome sin. We all struggle with this.

A male sharing one body with a female would still be a male.
A female would still be. Female.
But they would share the same blood the same body. One part of the body would be more one sex than the other
They would also share the same organs.
