Take it up with the Nicene Council.
This is the KEY point which i mentioned in another thread but most people can't process this.
Most think that the Bible fell from the sky.

Nobody thinks that.

Not nearly the bigger issues your "Trail of Blood" has.
it's impossible that i could ever duplicate any scenario, where a physical believer in Satan and Apollo, is overseeing putting together the most valuable and precious documentations about our God and Heritage for the entire world to read.

only God knows how much real TRUTH we will never know because Satan was able to deny and destroy Books he deemed unworthy, which in truth, probably just as equally valuable as any Book in the Bible.

Go run and play in traffic. if you get a thought, try speaking it out loud before typing. it will save me the effort of correcting you.

you are taking a stance that it was cool for Constantine to be in charge of deciding what is our Canon.
i am not cool about it.
therefore, none of my responses are intended to please you but prove you wrong.
get over it!

Constantine didn't decide. God did. You've proven nothing.

Sounds like this old perception of God

“Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭5:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

They thought that but the truth is

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

seems like your seeing the Old Testament mindset when men were terrified to hear what God actually said and not hearing the New Testament that’s promising everlasting life

I am not a Roman Catholic. My beliefs most closely align with the Reformed Presbyterian churches (OPC, RPCA, EPC).
traditionalist. understood. yeah, we won't ever see eye to eye on this ever.
i know God uses the enemy to do many good things for God, whether they realize it or not.
choosing how Inspired a Book of God is, should never be one of them.
fact is, when we read about who was on the Council, aside from Constantine, and we read the knowledge we have on each one, even things mentioned from the Church Fathers themselves, i can see how they settled on what we no longer have access to.

God made an adulterer and murderer King of Israel. I think I stand on firm ground.

how so, David, was a man after God's Own heart well before he met Bathsheba.
he was king already well before he met Bathsheba.
the 2 are not even remotely close.
Constantine NEVER believed in God until he was dying. and who knows how serious he was then or just covering all bases to get to Heaven?

Brother! You too? Wow, i thought i was alone but glad to see another one who's not a big fan of David. Let me give you a hug! :D
The only reason i tolerate David is because Jesus quoted him so i assume he's important in God's plan. So, i always trust Jesus.
Also, when David prays to God to strike his enemies dead and Jesus says to pray for your enemies, guess what i do?
I ignore David and trust Jesus again.
Anyway, good to see another one who's not a fan of David.

Well, since David was known as being a man after God's own heart... I don't think your dislike of him will matter much, in the grand scheme of things...

Paul took part in turning in Christians for execution... you not a fan of his, either?

People are human, and people can be saved through the grace of God... and some people can't forgive.

Paul doesn't say things contrary to Jesus but David did, so i'm gonna ignore David. And yes, i realize that what i think of him doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but i just don't want his mindset in my life, that's all.
I want nothing to do with David and i have nothing in common with David.

David is a "type" of Christ the conquering King.
Solomon is a "type" of the Christ the reigning King.
Joshua son of Nun is also a "type" Jesus.
The conquest of Canaan the promised land is a "type" of the conquest of the planet earth when Jesus returns at the second coming (its going to get very very ugly for the earth dwellers who did not hear and fear like the Gibeonites did).

By and large David was a very VERY good and great King who's heart was knitted to His Lord, whom he loved and knew. David was a prolific prophet, valiant, a great warrior, and astute statesman. Yes, he grew tired and compromised in his old age. The Bathsheba incident occurred when he was about 50.......if you did not know. The Absalom rebellion occurred in his 60's.

Moses had his problems as well. Moral of the story: look to yourself and be careful of your criticisms.

I'll tell you what the moral of the story is with David: If you want a massive Ego follow David.

Sure.......go ahead and "ignore David". But you will NEVER be able to ignore David's prophecies.
Nor will anyone else.
