Because that is exactly what is revealed in the Bible. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Rom 5:12) Who is the progenitor of the human race? Adam. Who is "the mother of all living"? Eve.

Wow, so many different perspectives. My Bible studies start with a short prayer for God to open my heart. I will then look at at least three translations starting with KJV, which will 'fill in the blanks' of understanding. If for some reason after that the message is unclear Strongs, Matthew Henry's, etc are invaluable to glean the meanings of scripture. Yes, written by man. Here is the thing...the Bible is a living Word. No matter which translation you use never forget that the Holy Spirit is our translator and God controls language - remember the tower of Babel...

So here is my advice: first, pray for an open heart and ears. If something is unclear, compare it to a different translation - I like the NET and the Living Translation. The Strongs is a wonderful tool, along with many other study aids. Don't give up.

Here is the absolute best thing you can do: find and join a small group that studies the Bible. There things will become clear as collaboration works.

It is true the "church" is not what it should be; it has turned away from God and to its own denotation.; not every church not every "Christian" I can say that there are far too many that have gone this way. My hope is that somehow God can and will use me to open their eyes and ears to the truth of God's word. I wish I could just get them to show me from the bible why they disagree with me.
God goes to great lengths to keep the line the genealogy from Eve to Mary, From Adam to Noah to Abrham all the way to Jesus.

The prophet Jeremiah reaffirms that David's throne will rule Israel and will do so forever: "For thus says the L ORD: 'David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel."

We have a man king on it today. That is a great history lesion and worth the time if anyone wants to understand it. It all comes down to this one thing; if you do not understand the beginning how will you understand the ending.

My name is Keith I am a born again Christian some of you have read a few of my posts I do not spend a lot of time online trying to debate doctrine. I am looking for some people that are willing to study Gods word.


The main chat forum has not worked so I wanted to try this one; I am not even sure I am supose to be in this room I am not a pastor, a youth leader, or a small group leader. I am someone that is looking to have open honest study of God's word. I do get news letters and magazines from some churches and I take them with a grain of salt and check them out with the bible and with history.


I will not point out one church over another, one pastor over another, one person over another, I will only use maybe 3 people names. My wife's uncle John Ray he is like a mentor he showed me how to study the bible, he gave me the tools a good 1611 Authorized Version of the King James Bible, perfect in it's translation no, a Strong,s Concordance The New Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible published by Thomas Nelson and a Smiths Dictionary. My wife of 48 years Brenda and my Daughter.


My last post was about Genius 1:1&2 and because they have been taught one thing in church they will not have an open bible discussion and that is what I am looking for and I am hoping to find it here.

Let me see if I can make this clear: Point being Genesis 1 on the 6th day God said “Let Us make man (a human males and females) in Our image and after our likeness.” In other words they had a head, 2 arms, 2 lags, Etc. What a lot of you are saying is that this was Adam and Eve that brought the different races into the world. Here is why I say it could not have been Adam and Eve created on the 6th day:





Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.





Milachi 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.





There are other verses throughout the bible that say the same thing.





If Adam and Eve where the mother and father of every race; then God has changed things because you look at things today; a man and a woman of the same race that you can trace that line back and see that there has been no interracial mixing, it is impossible for them to have children of a different race. You have the exception in skin color once in a while and albino (a black person with white skin) some different color in the skin pigmentation. A white couple cannot have an Oriental, or any other race child than white and it go both ways right down the line. So either the teaching of Adam and Eve creating all the races is wrong or the bible is wrong and God is not God. The bible clearly states that God is unchanging; AND I BELIEVE THE BIBLE.
