Only those Christ died for obey Jesus, that's part of His saving death, it produces obedience. Those who dont obey, its because Christ didnt love them not die for them.You are the elect? Only those who OBEY Jesus... First Understanding his teachings. Christianity does not.

Believers were perfected forever by Christ's Death before they were even born sinners
Scripture tells us (more than once) that the offering of the Lord Jesus Christ is sufficient to take away the sin of the world:brightfame52 said:all sinners Christ has died for, hath once and for all, solely by His One Offering, which means His Death, they by it hath been once and for all Sanctified Vs 10 and Perfected forever !

Let's take a look at 2 Timothy 2:10brightfame52 said:2 Tim 2:10

They are nevertheless washed in the Blood of Christ , Clothed in His Righteousness Imputed, in the sight of God ! In fact, even the Saints who are presently inn Glory, are no more Holy in the sight of God as they are while they are enemies.
Explain what I stated in that post, 1567yes I understand it ... I replied to your surmisings at Post 1569.

Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive
.
If you deny that sinners Christ died for, were perfected forever by His death as Per Heb 10:14 thats unbelief !... nope ... Scripture tells us when righteousness is imputed to mankind:
Romans 4:
20 He [Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he [God] had promised, he [God] was able also to perform.
22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
24 But for us also, to whom it [righteousness] shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ
Scripture tells us (more than once) that the offering of the Lord Jesus Christ is sufficient to take away the sin of the world:
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
Scripture also tells us that the gospel of Jesus Christ consists of both His death and His resurrection:
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures
Romans 10:9-11 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world.
In eternity past, God planned for the redemption of all mankind as the offering of the Lord Jesus Christ is sufficient to cover the sins of the whole world ... all descendants of Adam.
Hebrews 10:10-14 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once [for all– the words "for all" do not appear in the text]. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
vs 10 - sanctification is founded on the one offering of Jesus, not on our own offerings or sacrifices. Hebrews 10:10 contrasts the sufficiency of the one sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ against the insufficiency of the sacrifices under the Old Covenant (see Heb 10:1-4).
vs 14 - by the one offering, the Lord Jesus Christ has done all that was required ... there is no need of any further offering ...
Hebrews 10:
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
The one-time offering of the Lord Jesus Christ is sufficient for the remission of all the sins of all mankind. There is no other offering for the remission of sin.
Let's take a look at 2 Timothy 2:10
Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
There would be no need for them to also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus if, as you claim, they were "perfected forever by Christ's Death before they were even born sinners" ... or if, as you claim, they were "permanently in a state of Sanctification ongoing !
This is before they are born and certainly before they believe".
...
First of all, if they are enemies, they are not reconciled to God.
Secondly, you ignore a very important word in the verse ... the word "now".
According to you, they were "perfected forever by Christ's Death before they were even born sinners".
If they were "perfected forever by Christ's Death before they were even born sinners", God, as the Author of Scripture, would have used the word "then" in Col 1:21.
Third, Paul is speaking of those who have come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ:
Colossians 1:3-4 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints
You again rip a verse from the context within which the Author of Scripture has placed it ... then you attempt to align Scripture with your erroneous dogma ... and you have again failed.
You are to align your dogma to Scripture and where you are in error, let go of the error.

The Bible is the Word of God, literally "God-breathed" (2 Timothy 3:16), and we are commanded to read, study, and understand it through the use of good Bible study methods and always with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to guide us (1 Corinthians 2:14). Our study is greatly enhanced by maintaining diligence in the use of context because it is quite easy to come to wrong conclusions by taking phrases and verses out of context. It is not difficult to point out places that seemingly contradict other portions of Scripture, but if we carefully look at their context and use the entirety of Scripture as a reference, we can understand the meaning of a passage. “Context is king” means that the context often drives the meaning of a phrase. To ignore context is to put ourselves at a tremendous disadvantage.
