I think Paul was pointing to the more. There is more to the Christ life here and now than salvation. Paul’s focus was pretty much…yup your saved, great! now live like your saved. You are now citizens of the Kingdom so live in that reality today . There is more available for us today than just being saved. There is redemption available to us.Access to a transformational life through the life of Christ. Being saved was meant to be the initial step into the Kingdom. Individual Salvation was not meant to be the primary objective of our faith. Salvation is the reality the believer lives out of. Eternally secure I now have access to a redemptive life and Kingdom living today that goes on into eternity

The fruits of the spirit is a separate manifestation to what you reçieve later on.

The fruits of the spirit Jesus, refers to a manifestation here and now.
But salvation refers to a manifestation in a future event.

It's not confusing friend that you can only know that your saved, by what you've been told.
