Will believers dwell with Him there for eternity?
Not according to scripture...
Will believers dwell with Him there for eternity?
The gospel of the grace of God has gone out to all the world, been preached to every creature under heaven, and gone to all nations. Question: Is the gospel of the kingdom the same message as the gospel of the grace of God that Paul preached?
Colossians 1:
5 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
6 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:
Verse 23 23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
Romans 16:
25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
All the world...
Preached to every creature under heaven...
Made known to all nations...
Precious friend, you are not the only one; Many are struggling with these Differences.honesty I do not always understand the letters of Paul it is not by lack of trying but rather sometimes i see differences in Paul and Jesus teaching. I will be honest when i say that I follow the teachings of Jesus the son of GOD, the messiah our saviour whom I love dearly. I do not want to comment about the differences in these teachings however it is not the proper thread for this.
I agree that there is often a duality to prophecy. But at hand and come to pass shortly should never be construed to mean a distant future. God gives very clear clues as to the timing of events if one compares scripture with scripture.
Thank you Graceambassador, I will have a look.Precious friend, you are not the only one; Many are struggling with these Differences.
I have posted some here:
I have decided to follow Jesus?
Amen.
I agree. The kingdom is spiritual but does affect the physical world. The kingdom itself is in all true believers. It began with the church the day of Pentecost...I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. That kingdom has been increasing growing since then. Eventually it will fill the earth...the earth will be filled with the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.Hello Cameron, simply when Jesus said the Kingdom is at hand he meant it, being one with God the kingdom was on earth then when he walked amongst the people then. This is how i see it . Jesus paved the way to heaven for those who chose to follow Him.
Blessings

Excellent reference.Yes, like the parable of the mustard seed! indeed!
Mat 13:31 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
Mat 13:32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
