Oh cartoon time, good idea.
I liked the scene with the HIMARS in it....that got a chuckle out of me.
The truth is that the young generation is all ultra nationalistic in Ukraine...
The older generations (over 60) aren't so nationalistic....they are local community minded but don't care about who is in charge of the government.
The USSR and communism gave the people an illusion of security. So they kinda missed it when it fell apart.
The past is over...the future is a free and independent Ukraine. Where Ukraine is not perfect by a long shot...They will keep it after this fight.
Poland is getting rather anxious....they want a crack at the Russians really badly...if Ukraine falters with this counter-offense....it's going to be difficult to keep them out. They hate Russia with a passion. I remember when they started a grass roots labor movement long before the USSR fell....they fought long and hard to free themselves from the Soviets.
In the end they declared independence long before Gorbachev gave it to them....it just became too expensive for the USSR to fight them to keep them anymore. Today the Ruble is at 0.015 Euro. About a penny in US Dollar.
Texas has a larger economy and GDP than Russia does. It's not looking good for Russia to continue much longer...especially when the soldiers are not actually getting paid. It will be over quick when it all crashes down. The Russian propaganda campaigns will end then...the Iranian ones will continue though.
