PM vs DM

I'm going to be honest here, but this is true revolutionary thinking. Because you're applying the personal touch to any word salad.
And this is what i encourage when people lose sense of words.

Those are personal instant messages personally. I never send those. Occasionally I am not completely sure in a message. Those are called wishy-washy instant messages personally, or WIMPS.

I send lazy instant message periodic summaries, which are LIMPS, and if I'm particularly lazy, I only send biannual lazy instant message periodic summaries.

I send SIMPS also but since you haven't gotten one you can probably figure out what they are.

I take my PM's very seriously. Especially since I got OTD. It's the AM's I struggle with

:D Beckie, first of all i hope you're not speaking Russian here.
But yes, private messages are not always private of course. But the concept of the words is at stake here possibly hinging on salvation (cough).
A lot of people are lost by the programming of the Internet and we need to warn them.

PM means Private Message.
DM means Direct Message.

When you are discussing with a group of people and you want to say something to a person but not the group, you naturally say "let's talk in private".
However, in both cases whether you're in a group or in private, you are still being direct or live with the person, so the word direct has no meaning really.

All messages in the internet are Direct or Live so it's a meaningless word. Private on the other hand has meaning because you're not addressing the group but a person.
This is why it's important that you all repent from the usage of the word DM and think clearly about this issue.

Yes I agree 5000% brother Eli, you are onto something here. In fact I think you're being FAR too lenient, as all who use the internet outside of CC.com are in fact in danger of hell fire, whether PMing or DMing. Let's pray for their souls 🙏 🥺
