God does not actually say government is needed in place of God. As God told Samuel, they have not rejected you, they have rejected me, when the people came to Samuel saying they wanted a ruler such as other nations had. We should really be over that thinking. There is not the right understanding of what is meant by the soldier not bearing a sword in vain. The appointment from God would be ideal governing, subject only to God, that is described, not our or previous governments of this world. Do you really want officers of our country bearing a sword they could use? But guns? Does the Bible mention guns? Of course not. For enforcing the law? Be careful supporting that. A law, any law, is what they will kill for, then.
I have a meme but will not show it through this, Facebook keeps it from being seen. It is because it shows with the actual cases it happens, that the police will kill you over untaxed cigarettes, over a fifty dollar bag of weed, for doing your laundry, if you're in your own home, for stopping a mass shooting, if you can't hear their orders. You can't have me believe you say this is what God wants in place. A police state is worldly.
