I go by scripture by friend, Jesus was clear ..."this generation"
21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be.

Have you ever read what happened to Jerusalem 70 AD?

Now, just the Ancient Romans War History after 70 AD, as time progresses and weapons improve, we see Rome do 10 times worse to other Nations. Look at Warfare in past 200 years, the Destruction Alone makes 70 AD look like a picnic.

Look what Hitler did to Europe.

And you think 70 AD is : For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be?

Seriously?

And you think this Generation, at the End of Jesus Warning, is 70 AD?

Hitler did to Europe 1,000 times greater than Rome did to Jerusalem, and that is the GREATEST TRIBULATION ever known?

When we compare what a Tribulation is, to place 70 AD anywhere in the top 50 War Battle Destruction, would be pushing the envelop extremely hard.

Sometimes, I think people are Stoned, when you think, if they took ALL of the Vital Information we have access to, and compare it with all examples, how could one possibly think this way?

Josephus says 1 million Jews were tortured, cut open, slit up, placed upon spears, babies cut from the womb, and all of these horrific details.

But read Ghengis Khan, he did that daily until he murdered over 40 MILLION people and averaged in some places over 250,000 deaths per day!

As horrible 67-70 AD was, you gotta be Stoned, to think that was the actual Greatest Tribulation the world has Ever Known!

Even Noah beats 70 AD!!

Jesus died to conquer death so it isn't something we should be afraid of anymore. Also take comfort that if you're away from the body, you're present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).

Read that whole verse/chapter in context. This verse has nothing at all to do with end times, a rapture, or anything you're seemingly using it to prop up now. It's completely irrelevant to the issue we're discussing. Don't get me wrong it's a great verse, but it has nothing to do with this discussion at all in truth.

The bible is very clear, this temple will be built. Christians should be looking forward to it.
What scripture says there must be built another temple?

The one that says, the Man of Sin will sit, on the Temple Throne, proclaiming to be God!

Kind of need a Temple to fulfill that Verse!

It's mostly denial. But it's a lot more important to face the truth. When a person does that, then they can prepare for it properly. If they don't and continue to pretend it won't happen, then they won't be prepared. Then they might do some pretty ungodly things just to stay alive and survive. I've read all the horrible things that people did to stay alive during WW2 because they didn't prepare.

Yeah, no kidding. I wasn't even talking about rapture. I was talking about dying. That's very clear in my post. When we die, we're apart from our physical bodies and present with the Lord.

I read your opinion and mild insults, but still haven't seen a scripture supported case for the the 3rd temple dilemma at all. I get it, your argument is "worse things have happen since 70 ad". then go on and list some bad things you declare to be worse, with no kind of measurement or qualifier at all. So really the only thing supporting this argument is the authority of your opinion on matters and events you weren't there for. How can you know 70 ad wasn't the most terrible? What did God use to gauge this? I'm not really asking these questions, but I am trying to point out the weakness of this argument. We are discussing the things of God. You know you need to come with scripture to prove your case, not opinion.

Now, many people trying to bastardize the Bible here claims Nero is the Man of Sin.

Did Nero go to Jerusalem and see, or sit in the Temple Throne?
However, when the Second Temple was destroyed in August of 70, Nero had been dead for two years...

Yeah, this pre-Mill Doctrine, is as wacky as transgenders!

Sorry then. I must have misunderstood you completely then. If I was too brutish with my words I apologize. I started replying and reading multiple comments so I may have just gotten mixed up when I replied if my comment just seemed that far in left field. I will go back and reread everything to try to get it straight in my head, but wanted to respond right away to this comment.

Honestly this just reminded me why I took a vacation from commenting for so long. I'd rather discuss these things face to face. Misunderstanding is SO much easier when only reading text. Again I hope I didn't sound to "preachy" towards you and hope you all have a great day.

Wow you're just a ray of sunshine aren't you? Well I didn't miss it and it's NOT a biblically supported answer. "Well it has to be there" isn't a real answer. It's a cult members mental loophole top avoid thinking about the REAL problem.
"the man of sin" cannot sit in Gods temple if there is no Gods temple.
The problem is NOT man building the temple, the problem is that Scripture is closed and God didn't command us to rebuild the temple. Why don't you answer this instead of acting like a spoiled brat that is above all?

Do you think Paul would mention the Throne in the Temple of God if this was metaphorical in a Spiritual Sense?
He is concrete clear on everything else.
Why now is he confusing?
Because, he destroys your personal idealism's?

The Messiah will come and teach the evil people the truth - then there will be no more confusion!
What is the TRUTH that the Messiah will teach the evil people when He comes?

Luke 16:19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Malachi 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Revelation 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
