I am an aspiring artist and have been a Christian for more than 20 years and am looking for good examples of Christian art to learn from. Does anyone know of a site that has good Christian art?
"Art" is a wide field.I am an aspiring artist and have been a Christian for more than 20 years and am looking for good examples of Christian art to learn from. Does anyone know of a site that has good Christian art?
I like anime, of the clean and wholesome variety only, but don't do art. It is cool that we have a fellow person with a taste in anime/manga. What's your favorite anime or manga? My favorite anime is Hunter X Hunter, or anything classic by Studio Ghibli, though I like One Piece as well.Personally, my focus is in comic and manga style. I'd love to hone my skills to do concept art as well
If you Google Christian anime art you'll see some awesome stuff.Personally, my focus is in comic and manga style. I'd love to hone my skills to do concept art as well
Tina Bradford. She understood composition -- something almost no "artist" seems to have a full grasp of today. I might also recommend Kent Wallis.I am an aspiring artist and have been a Christian for more than 20 years and am looking for good examples of Christian art to learn from. I used to paint with oils and they are messy and costly and yes the supplies take up space; sameI've only worked with watercolors and acrylics not oils. I'd love to learn oils but I don't have a space I can dedicate to the task
Not to mention the drying time on digital art is hard to beat!I used to paint with oils and they are messy and costly and yes the supplies take up space; same
with acrylics, pencils, chalk, inks, etc etc etc. That's one of the great things about digital art: the
space required is Hard Drive, only requiring a device that can run an editing program .. And then
the HD space to store all the work you create, and the ephemera you will use in the design process...
The ephemera itself is free, too! Many sites offer such things, and do not require accreditation.

God also uses skill. If things were that easy, we'd be supermen at everything.HELLO, you have the holy GOD living inside of you, just ask, and believe. and use your imagination, he loves it when you use your faith, I like to paint to, I'm not a pro' I just love painting with Jesus, I paint LandScapes like bob ross, but not oil I like acrylic, take care God bless you,
HI Gojira do you paint, and what do you like to paint?God also uses skill. If things were that easy, we'd be supermen at everything.
Studying visual composition takes years. It is, unfortunately, the thing lacking in "art" today, and hence I do not call what we have today art.
I have not done anything traditional for a long time. I hope to when (if) I retire.HI Gojira do you paint, and what do you like to paint?
Yaa I got real busy, and I thought that the lord wanted me to laid down until I retire, but when the rite time came , the lord told me its ok to start painting again, it gives me peace and joy,I have not done anything traditional for a long time. I hope to when (if) I retire.
Yeah... NO time for me at all. But, that will hopefully change within 10 years. If not, then after I resurrect.Yaa I got real busy, and I thought that the lord wanted me to laid down until I retire, but when the rite time came , the lord told me its ok to start painting again, it gives me peace and joy,
