Antitype doesn't mean symbol. An antitype is the fulfillment of a type; the type is the symbol. There were many types of Christ in the Tanakh; Jesus was the antitype.
So, baptism is the fulfillment of the type, and also saves.

Let us believe you made a mistake when you said Chuck Smith and the entire C Chapel movement teach what you do. We will just pretend that is not what you really said as if you did say that, you either deliberately lied or you are also confused as to what is taught

The following is from the Calvary statement of faith concerning the Trinity

The Trinity
We believe that there is one living and true GOD, eternally existing in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all things (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 44:8, 48:16; Matthew 28:19-20; John 10:30; Hebrews 1:3).
I didn't say that they teach everything I do.

But I am in agreement with the above statement on the Trinity.

I don't know, I haven't been following this that closely. I just noticed what you said about antitype and commented on that. Do with it what you will.

John's baptism was a believer's baptism. They believed what John preached and then they were baptized for repentance.

satan told me that he was not going to let my doctrine prevail because he was going to have his people denounce it as heresy.
I have not had such a good laugh in a long while

Yup you ad satan are in control NOT

pastor Chuck and the movement definitely teach the doctrine of with, in, and upon, about the Holy Spirit.

No, they haven't asked me to leave.
Yeah. But not like what you have presented.

Lord bless you.

Of course he cannot do what he threatened. I prayed that my doctrine would have free course and be glorified, even as it is with me.
Well make up your mind sunshine cause you actually said that he, the devil, not God but the inferior created being who tried to take His place, told you that he was not going to let YOUR doctrine prevail

satan told me that he was not going to let my doctrine prevail because he was going to have his people denounce it as heresy.
Go ahead and twist what you actually said like a bag full of pretzels. I know you can

Acts 10:43~ All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name.:)
:)
After the statement in Acts 10:43, Peter commands the group to be baptized in water in the name of the Lord. (Acts 10:47-48) According to scripture elsewhere it is at that point that their sins were remitted as provided for by the shed blood of Jesus. (Acts 2:38, 22:16...)

Well you cannot be in agreement as they do not emphasize oneness

Just makin it up as you go along are you? That is not a question.

It's pretty shameful if you are trying to drag down a man and the churches he founded by saying they believe as do you

Do you try to undermine the teaching in the Calvary church you go to? I would think you do

Love how you twist what people say which of course ties in with your biblical understanding

I DID NOT SAY baptism had not been heard of or instituted. I DID say that baptism in the NT was a new ordination as pertains to believers. In fact, mr let-me-step-all- over- the- truth, you exactly quoted where I said it

It's actually funny. I suspect yr sense of humor may also be lacking

When you and your friends gonna cop to being Oneness Pentecostals?
Sheeees back. lol

Yes, my doctrine.

Just like Jesus said His doctrine was His doctrine and Paul said that his doctrine was his doctrine.

Yet both doctrines of both people are entirely biblical.

Jhn 7:16, Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

2Ti 3:10, But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

While I emphasize the Oneness of the Lord in the Trinity, I do not deny the distinction between the members in the Godhead.

But I emphasize the Oneness of the Lord because I am called to do so; in order to combat the mormon idea that the members of the Godhead are separate rather than distinct;

as is portrayed in one heretical diagram; wherein it declares that,

"the Father IS NOT the Son IS NOT the Holy Ghost".

That is three Lords, and we are forbidden by catholic doctrine to say that there are three Lords.

For the scripture is clear that the Father is Lord (Matthew 11:25, Luke 10:21, 2 Corinthians 6:17-18), the Son is Lord (1 Corinthians 8:6, 1 Corinthians 12:3), and that the Holy Ghost is Lord (2 Corinthians 3:17); but that there is one Lord (Ephesians 4:5) Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 8:6).

Baptism has saved exactly zero people from their sins.
Wrong.

According to Acts 2:38-39, baptism in Jesus' Name is the condition to the fulfilling of a promise of remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Actually, I do not.

I preach what I preach on the internet alone.

I consider that my doctrine may in fact work its way around to my brethren at my attended church.

I utilize the same tactic that Paul did. He attempted to reach his own people by preaching to the Gentiles; hoping that the salvation would provoke his brethren to jealousy in order that they might be saved.
