They are ripping them the wrong way! Of course jeans can be ripped. And slashed and bleached and cut off.

I've done both, but not always on purpose. I can certainly tell you which is faster.

Mine jeans usually just bust out by 'demselfs when me does a deep squat.

no I dont have a chainsaw
Could run over them with a lawnmower though or put them through the mulcher

I figured if I used scissors the cuts would be too neat.
