There is an absolute promise in holy scripture, that if one repents and is baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, salvation (remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Ghost) will follow (Acts 2:38-39).
and Jesus also promised that those who call on HIS name shall be saved. And Jesus also said Go and baptize everyone in the name of The Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Did Peter change that? No, he did not.

Because he didn't need to. he had mentioned it previously, in Acts 2:38.

The Holy Ghost hermeneutic is comparing scripture with scripture (1 Corinthians 2:13).
LOL FYI chapters and verses do not stay on the same day or situation always the context changes as does the day.

You're right. He didn't disobey Matthew 28:19 when he baptized them according to Acts 2:38.

That is a salvation predicated on works. It is antithetical to the gospel.

It is apprehending a point of contact for faith in order that you might receive a conditional promise in holy scripture.

you can think that but the word of God says

WE are saved by Grace through Faith,

Eph 2:8-9

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

FYI, Baptism is an act of obedience and symbolic is by those who are saved, as Paul said in Roman chapters 6-8

You deny the plain meaning of Acts 2:38-39 as being antithetical to the gospel. Why then is it included in holy scripture?
The Bible isn't written like other books. It requires in many instances revelation.

many in the book of acts were not even baptized yet when the Holy Spirit came on them then. After that, they were baptized. Even Paul
had hands laid on him by a disciple who received the Holy Spirit and then was water baptized. Cornelius' house also recieved the Holy Spirit as Peter was still preaching. Water baptism in the name of Jesus was not done. I guess you think the Holy Spirit comes into those who are not saved?

The only instance in the book of Acts, in which people received the Holy Spirit before baptism was with Cornelius and friends. And I think that I have mentioned in this very thread that God was proving that Gentiles could be saved in that instance. For the church was in a time of transition; and therefore the existing protocols (seen in Acts 2:38) were diverted so that God could make His point that Gentiles can be saved.

"walking in newness of life" (salvation) is the result of baptism according to Romans 6:1-8.

I can't imagine a Christian Act taking place like the Day of Pentecost, knowing how Peter was preaching under the Influence of the Holy Spirit, every Christian Water Baptism most likely matched Acts Chapter 2.

Clearly, the Holy Spirit, chose, to Water Baptize in Jesus Name!

You mean, sometimes we have to change the words in scripture in order to get the right meaning?
You know that isn't what I mean. It means where scripture seems to contradict itself, it requires understanding that comes from God.
