If they are not the "elect" it does not matter, they are either chosen or they are not, God's mind is made up on the matter.

I know for a fact, that am the only one in my family that is one of God's elects. After the true gospel is told to them, their fruit is revealed that they are nonelects.
God saved you. How do you know He will not yet be merciful to your family as well?

I do not believe there are a finite number of "elect" I think we determine who is "elect" by our belief or lack of belief in Jesus as our savior.@hornetguy
That is not what I believe it is what the OP believes, I was just mirroring his belief, so if you disagree with me are you in agreement with the OP?
My friend I enjoyed your post and I appreciate you trying to help him understand. Sadly though that would defeat the purpose if he is chosen and above them then he isn't doing it.When a person has a conversion experience, it is quite common to discover that one, several, or many members of their family or peer group do not understand. After all, why would you talk and think about Jesus all the time? As far back as the Old Testament, the one born of the spirit was persecuted by the one born of the flesh. In Abram's case, he actually followed God out of the worldly family to the land that God would show him. And, in fact, if anyone leaves family or lands or such for Jesus' sake, they will receive more in this life and in the life to come eternal life. However, the parable of the weeds and the tares illustrates how the world continues to have saved and unsaved next to each other until the end. At that time, it will be revealed who was who. Christians generally adopt the love your enemies advice of Jesus, in hopes that others may be saved. Bible advice mentions that those who only love those who love them back do not have the reward, the reward that loving contrary persons have. If you love those who do not love you back, you are children of God, we learn.

I thought you were agreeing with him.... I disagree with him.
Just want to share the press release to my book published last year by Christian Faith Publishing. Also, every soul who believes is among God's elect. Otherwise jesus did not die to save the world and if that is so, he died in vain. To judge another soul based on his or her behavior is an act of unbelief. to pass judgement on others is to doubt that Jesus was able to finish the work God sent him to do.
“Without Doubt” is the creation of published author Bill Whitmire.
Whitmire shares, “There is no doubt about it, God’s purpose is to save the world and He has a plan to accomplish it in Christ. Everyone who believes Him seeks understanding without biases. Anyone who denies him is the Antichrist.
“Praise God that He will save every soul that we love. Praise God that He will save every soul that we despise. Praise God that He will save us all. Praise God that His justice is the salvation of an unjust world. Praise God that His mercy, and His grace cannot be compromised by the sins of men.
“He made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment— to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ. In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will. (Eph. 1:9–11 NIV)”
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Bill Whitmire’s new book is a compelling personal Bible study.
Whitmire’s passion for the Word of God is apparent within the pages of this charismatic discussion of Christ.

Perhaps God will reveal this to them. What is required is an act of belief/faith on Christ Jesus and His work on their behalf.... the act of divine mercy has already occurred in the time past when Jesus took on ALL sin for ALL sinners of all time.
Perhaps God will reveal this to them.
Sure. But blessing came to Peter when flesh and blood was not the source of His revelation, but God.You are funny, the revelation comes in through the sharing of the Good News, they need to accept if for themselves as a gift freely given to those who believe on Christ Jesus for it.

Your hatred of Calvinism has jaded you so severely that a simple statement of hope and encouragement to someone becomes to you a referendum on Salvation.
Anyone can tear down. Try to construct.
I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
Luke 5:32
For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.
Rom 11:32
Pray (intercede) until your knees are sore. Then pray some more. Pray without ceasing until your "non elects" encounter The Lord.
I was just thinking about Peter. I was thinking about the relationship he had with Jesus. Among all the apostles Peter and Jesus had a bond that special I began wishing I could have at least been in there in spirit to watch the whole story go down going so far as to imagine I would be able to interact with Jesus as he would kind of stop time and explain things to me.Sure. It's how Jesus said He would build His church. Probably a little important.I see no point in building up harmful lies.
What happened with Peter is not to be generalized to all people for all time.
The RCC calls Peter the first pope, and claim an unbroken line of succession back to himThen I starting thinking about how he said to Peter on this rock I will build my church. I vaguely remember and I may be wrong about this so please forgive me but I think it was either calvanism or the catholics or something that use that as a kind of source for making Peter a kind of high priest of their belief or something
Do you perhaps know what I am talking about? But I did wonder to myself what exactly did he mean by that.
There are a number of views of this. Some believe Peter is the rock spoken of. Other, his profession. I believe the rock spoken of is the revelation of God of the person of the Lord Jesus Christ.I was just thinking about Peter. I was thinking about the relationship he had with Jesus. BTW...I was encouraging the person concerning his family. He has obviously laid hold of false doctrine. But gentleness
restores.
