Is it immoral (offensive to God) to limited immigration?

historically, the US is about the most generous nation in the world in terms of immigration, but every civilized country in the world has immigration law. immigration is lawfully limited in number because people coming in to the country need time to find a place, a job, and hopefully assimilate. oh, and maybe even learn English. :D
my ancestors were immigrants. they didn't try to make this nation into the one they left.

if you don't like the law, you change it. you don't just ignore it.

speaking of Sharia, check out Dearborn in my home state of Michigan. i doubt it's the only place like it in the US, too. also, nobody's making any promises at either of our borders; they're just entering. hhhhhhhhhh!

in good conscience, even i don't pledge allegiance to a flag. only to the Lord Jesus. i know that probably sounds sanctimonious... i don't mean it that way, but i take that sort of thing seriously. :giggle:
 
It is immoral to create a society that does not address the needs of the poor and the ability to sustain existence and an enviroment that creates opportunities to improve and thrive. It is not immoral to defend borders to prevent undesirables to enter any country that would erode whatever freedom or opportunity was available to the citizens that were already established.

As an American and as a Christian I believe that the U.S. SHOULD welcome ALL who want to come on one condition; that they pledge their agreement that they will respect and abide by the U.S. Constitution rather than, for example, Sharia law or some other belief system.

Americans that are here now are here now because their ancestors came here. I'm surprised that a Christian would dislike or disagree with your post when used scripture.

Anyone who isn't touched by the plight of those in need probably isn't a Christian. But anyone who believes what is happening at the border is the best way to address those needs has given their brains the day off.

It isn't compassionate to allow cartels to prey on and make slaves of people for their own profit. Neither is is in anyone's interest to allow evil people to prosper at the expense of the weakest amongst us.

If you don't realize the way human suffering is being multiplied the way things are currently being done, it's time to do your homework. Human life is being devalued and immigrants are being used as pawns for political and economic gain. Not truly understanding the plight of poor is increasing the problem, not alleviating it.

Americans were told this seven years ago and they feigned outrage so now they have what they asked for, an open border. Beware what you ask for, you might just get it.
