I've had a pair of Morman missionaries stop and talk 3 times in the past 2 weeks. So far they have let me do most of the talking
and seem to show genuine interest in what I've been saying. What should I/they expect to happen if they decide to
leave the Morman church?

That is very unlikely. They are probably "softening" you up so that you are convinced that the LDS church is the true church. The next time you see them you could simply tell then that you have nothing in common with them, and that they should simply move on.

Hello oldman. That seems unusual, mostly when I'm approached by Mormons as soon as they know I'm a Christian they seem to want to leave -perhaps they're looking for an 'easier' target. But they're listening to you, that's good. You can share the gospel with them, plant a seed. As with all 'cult' groups they have no assurance of salvation, I'll pray they see your assurance in the Lord and want that too. God Bless You :)

They really need to get saved. I have never been successful in leading Mormons to Christ. The last time I talked to them was walking down main street.
I went to a meet with the young Mormon "elders" to hold some Bible studies with the intention of leading them to the true Jesus Christ. One of them sounded like he started to reconsider some errors of his religion and believe the Bible. He was sent away the following week to another city.

I used to let them into my home with the purpose in mind to lead them to Christ, thinking that my intentions were right as long as I led the conversation with the Bible.
No longer will I do that in my home. May the Lord curse their efforts. They lead many people to hell. I decided that I better strictly adhere to 2 John.

"Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds."

I agree with Nehemiah6 about this @oldman. It would be beyond unusual for a Mormon missionary to convert to Christianity, and for both of them to do so .. well, I've never heard of that before (which is just one of the reasons that the LDS church always sends them out two by two).

If you feel like the points that they are making to you are starting to sound either possible or reasonable, do not hesitate to talk to your pastor about it, and bring them back here and discuss them with us too (if you'd care to). Actually, Nehemiah6's suggestion to end your talks with them might be the best idea at this point, unless you are certain that the Lord wants you to continue, of course.

Continue to pray for them, and pray for yourself too, that the Lord would guard your heart from the error of their teachings (especially if you continue to witness to them).

Blasphemous Mormon View of Jesus

Oldman, they actually believe in a false Jesus.
They have a warped view of how He came to the earth too. Have you ever seen the Mormon cartoon?

BTW, I Don't think you are being convinced by them, but am providing information that will strengthen you in God's Word against their deception. They have been deceived by their late.teens so much, that it is difficult to win them. However, I have useful tools if you want them.

I cannot do that. They actually listen while I do most of the talking. I am aware of the danger of their doctrine.

I share my experience with them in a non-threatening manner and we do have some common ground in that they carry a KJV bible with them. If the conversation turn to the book of mormon, I shift to something else - this is to stay non-threatening.

Just ask them one simple question: "What does the Bible say about how a sinner may be saved and go to Heaven?" If they do not have a biblical answer then you should show it to them. The problem is that for them the Book of Mormon probably has more authority than the Bible.

Someone else told me that they report on each other in an evaluation if their partner starts to have doubts or defect.
From that one personal experience with the two, I have no other explanation. The guys partner that was left behind told me which state and city he was sent to, but wouldn't tell me why. It was apparent to me though.

If either of them get Saved, I think the best thing would be to get them plugged into a good Bible believing local church.
