Sure. I get the psychological angle. But like all Christians, our lives are not our own and our highest good is found in obedience to God. My advice is to embrace the calling, do it with all your heart, and leave the outcomes to God.Yes, now try to psychologically put yourself in my position: God calls you to sacrifice your time on Earth to prophesy something that people won't even listen to. How would that make you feel? To be rejected and hated and despised for telling people something they definitely DO NOT want to hear - especially from your own brothers and sisters in Christ?
You too would ask, "What's the point in being a prophet?"
