and it would be received more if you didn't have so many quick sharp replies with scripture you've rehearsed to prove your point and then ending with a cheap remark.
I am actually acting entirely spontaneously, I'm just that familiar with scripture.

Indeed you've been stuck in this thread for 10 hours with an instant reply to everyone ending with a cheap remark, if your lonely there's better ways to have company.Indeed, this intelligence is a better definition for Logos.
That's a rather sweeping statement. However, I also find that there is much more emphasis on forgiveness of sin than newness of life. If Christians knew the power of the resurrection, sin would be much less of a problem. Why are things like Hebrews 7:1-28, 2 Corinthians 3:1-18, Ephesians 2:11-22, and Galatians 4:19-31 completely ignored across Christian sects?
We don't seem to be applying the resurrection at all, why?
What personal experience leads you to believe this is the case? Why are things like Hebrews 7:1-28, 2 Corinthians 3:1-18, Ephesians 2:11-22, and Galatians 4:19-31 completely ignored across Christian sects?

was he refering to me to being logos, I've looked up logos it refers to have different meanings to different religions.FrankSophia's name should be a big clue to what he's about. In Gnosticism, Sophia (Wisdom) is considered the female aspect of God. His mention of the Logos a couple of times is another giveaway. And his preoccupation with mortifying the flesh is another.

can you tell me why you referred to me as a logosI'm just conveying what the bible actually says, stop trying to make me something else.
In Gnosticism the whole cosmology is stupid, and in their texts there actually isn't much wisdom at all.
The calling of the Christian is the same knowing the Gnostics proposed, but without erroneous doctrines... at least to the extent that the Christian is echoing Orthodox positions.

There is a deep down, almost undiscernable, desire in the self of the soul to survive. Jesus said that the natural life has to be denied daily so that His life may be expressed. I would tell you how long it took me to consign every aspect of self to the cross, but it would be embarrasing. When we come to that place, hopefully sooner than I did, it means that Christ is formed in us.
Self promises everything but fails every time. "Good" is not enough. It has to be God, initiated by Him and performed in His power.
I've heard many messages on John 14:6. Preachers emphasise Jesus the Way, Jesus the Truth but stumble over Jesus the Life. Once a person is saved, "Jesus the Life" is the most important truth we can know.
can you tell me why you referred to me as a logos![]()
ok you said I was lacking logos then. Thanks friendCan you show me where I did so?
The Logos is lacking in most Christians, which causes things like young and flat earth.
The word means reason or intelligence.
It is unlikely I used it towards you in the way you're suggesting.
The calling of the Christian is the same knowing the Gnostics proposed,
ok you said I was lacking logos then. Thanks friend
So now I know where your coming from you think your wisdom is superior
No it isn't. Christianity is based on faith in Christ's substitutionary death and resurrection, not "knowing." The Holy Spirit can plant in someone the conviction of the truth of the gospel, but there is no such thing in Christianity as "knowing" as the Gnostics teach it.
Look at Ephesians 3:16-19
Faith is towards a purpose, here we learn the purpose is to know a love that surpasses knowledge and reveals the fullness of God...
For me the whole problem with Christianity is this sort of superficial understanding that avoids the real thing entirely.
I would not be making it about you . If I'm giving you the chance to answer. You still want to make it about me in comparison to you...
Any wisdom I have is from the Spirit and is available to you, at most I would suggest I'm ahead of most for now... but I want all to get to the truth and know God directly too.
I would not be making it about you . If I'm giving you the chance to answer.
Since yesterday have you had chance to think whether your ahead of Paul to.
Yesterday I told you Paul walking in the spirit was sent a thorn in his side to stop him becoming to proud,
Are you still going to say your flesh has not sinned since 2012.
And do you feel the need to die to your self daily ?.
