(M18) Hi all, have grown up in Christian family and didn't think much of it until I got serious with God about 3 weeks ago, committed my life to Christ. My walk is going pretty well, but I have doubts on our relationship. I attend bible group, read the word, pray and really worship God but I can't seem to find the next step to take.

My situation is I've been trying to find a job since February. I'm flat out broke but I have support from my parents. Had work here and there, got into sales but I found that to be dishonest work. I prayed for a job and ended up with 4 different job offers. I took one and now I'm working full time as a roofer and part time as a chess coach.

I always and will always give back to God and give to anyone where I see a need to help keep me humble and grateful for every day. I want to be able to give to people so that money doesn't hold me back.

I recently got a better opportunity for government funded sales and it pays significantly better than roofing and chess combined. But I also got sent job slots from a cousin who rang me up today and a Christian Camp leader. So I'm stuck between roofing and sales and these other jobs. I want to seek God before anything else so here. I've prayed on the subject but all I ask is that you pray for my situation and only answer when the Holy Spirit has laid it on your heart.

Thank you,
Deron

The final step is in LIVING this out!!! (James 1:22) and boy oh boy watch people betray and turn on you!!! But HEY!!! Jesus was betrayed so we will to. It's sad of course but everyone who lives will be betrayed somewhere down the line. The difference is. we overcome adversity. because our Jesus lives big in us!! (1 John 4:4) I am so glad things are going so well for you brother, I play chess as well I have the fat fritz 2 program, I cannot beat it yet, but I learn greatly from it!! LOL, I have drawn it twice though!! LOL How to stay in God's will?? By ALWAYS NO MATTER WHAT!!!! (1 Thess 5:18) I encourage you brother to keep moving forward which I know you are in, though, and by our Lord Jesus!!!

there's an old saying: "Stop, look & listen"! that means take a time to stop everything, sit down, shut out all noise & have the most serious talk with Jesus. sometimes a person is not doing anything wrong that would obviate he or she from receiving anything from God. it's just that you have to wait til God is done preparing it. in your talk with Jesus, ask Him to show you all that your doing that is wrong or sinful. the best position anyone can be in to receive answers is to always be in the edification process. (Matthew 5:48). a Christian's life is always surrendering to Jesus & improving yourself. & with all this, make sure you are always in a joyful relaxed mood, never tense. God has a plan for everyone. here's another saying for you: "pray & believe & you'll receive, pray in doubt & you'll do without"!!! blessings to you!

Hello Deron! God will surely guide and lead you to the right path because you are seeking his will.

Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Now about the jobs, John the Baptist told the soldiers when they asked him what they should do as the fruit of their repentance and John said, “Be content with your wages.”

You are also doing God's will in that it is in your heart to give to those who are in need. It is a very, very critical part of obeying and doing the will of God. Just do it as he said, do not let your right hand know what your left hand does. Give and expect nothing back and you shall have reward in heaven.

This is how we obey God's will, giving to those who are in need while being content with what we have. Man's will is to seek for profit increase so that they may bestow to the poor but it is not so with God.

💕

One thing I believe and have experienced is the Truth that God leads His own...
Once you've spoken to Him sincerely about it and do not try to manipulate things into happening, He'll truly select for you... I've experienced it more than once now, and when He makes the choice for you, boy! You'll be glad you didn't try to pull the rein of things happening apart from you praying...
You've prayed, keep praying that He keeps you at the centre of His will, and watch things turn out well...

I pray He keeps you on this new path you've taken with Him as well... God Bless You...

Hi time you need to have a conversation with God may be you were just speaking your own and leave but you never gave God space and chance to talk Hebrews 11:1 gives a good quote about faith of which if you understand it clearly then also faith works when you listen what God says not only God to listen what you say but you are yet to have much done ,you are truly moving.
