I think it's not a good idea to continue in this disagreement anymore.
But go right ahead I can take it.

Your failing to see the point if you diligently seek God right now he will reward you with something.
You've made that out to be a prize not me,

Whatever that reward may be
It could even be some little like recieving gladness or comfort or renewing of your mind from the fruits with in, that you where blessed with.
Or a vision or anything.

I'm glad you stepped in and spoke about the gifts of the holy spirit appropriately,

but turning what I hold valuable to be a prize I'm chasing is your idea.

An athiest does not fear God
Neither did the unjust Judge.

A Christian Does fear God.

Both athiests and Christians can go into a state of unbelief.

One those unbeliefs is Fear of there own making or out side influence.

I won't be intimidated by any man anymore I know exactly how intimidating works. And I know how to overcome it. By going to be with the lord, who rewards me with peace.

If you cant see my fear and appreciate my concern by sharing in my frustration. Then your only going to make my frustration worse.
Which seems to happen alot around here.

Somebody chucks a stone the other person's reacts,
And so there for, there intelligence is worthless or there calling isn't of the spirit.

Now all the doubters can wade in.
And attack a brother.
Because why.
Well because he never answered a critics answer how the critic wanted it answering.

Anyway, peace to you sorry for my frustration.
well, the sad thing is I have not attacked you. I just disagree with your understanding of this topic.

Am I supposed to know which episode that picture is from or something?
No, it’s my way of saying your post is ridiculous, but snowflakes tend to get their knickers in a twist over such concepts.

People who disagree with you on the basis of their sound understanding of Scripture are not "doubters".

People who disagree with you are not attacking you.

People who disagree with you aren't doing so because you didn't answer the way one person wanted you to answer.

Stop acting like a spoiled princess; it's ridiculous and completely inappropriate for an adult. You have been told where you are wrong; failing to receive and incorporate correction is foolish.

maybe I do not understand your meaning :)
Believers see the Lord at work in the church. Believers observe the gifts at work in the brethren.

If you trust the Lord and step out into a fuller acceptance of the power of the Holy Spirit. You will end up a hardline Pentecostal.

I have seen people from traditional church backgrounds, transition to a deeper trust in the Lord.

So, you're an atheist, agnostic, or part time unbeliever who doesn't think Jesus told the truth in parables. Where do you go to church, if at all?

Yup the sad thing is somebody has to be villain.

I don't think that's you, but anyway my mind is renewed now.

Seeing as your not out to attack me I'll explain some more, however I wish I could say the same for others.

I think it's good to recieve a revalation of something that can be spirituality discerned,

Some people are suggesting the parable of the op is only fictional.
What's your take on that. ?

I believe it's talking about an actually real event that took place and is relevant for today also.

Where the unjust Judge speaks from verse 1-8
Whether he was an athiest or not is irrelevant,
The fact is he didn't fear God.
This is a state of unbelief.
But yet he talked like God all the way through verse 1-8.

Now this was a man of authority.
Judges in those days where appointed by elders to act upon the authority of God

To put God first

The fact is he was not putting God first, but yet he spoke with the authority of God

Again whether he was an athiest or not is irrelevant, he was still behaving with the same attitudes as an athiest befor he spoke with the authority of God.

So where did that come from.

I could not believe something tomorrow and my friend could say your behaving like an athiest.

It's makes no difference to me.
Water of a ducks back.

I don't get why he suggested Deist. Deism is the believe that God just created the world, set up natural laws, and left it alone. It is not consistent with the idea of God gifting some people to prophesy.

It is my understanding that a Parable is a story with a Spiritual truth or lesson. This is what made the Lord Jesus a dynamic and powerful teacher.

If the Bible doesn't teach that X was the only reason Y happened, why should that be part of our doctrine?
Well.... that is called discernment. It's called reading scripture, and keeping it in context. It was a teaching moment for the Jewish Christians... that is what that whole scripture is about.... it's about how the Jewish Christians were taught that Gentiles were acceptable to God...... and they were shown that in a visible, impressive way... a way they couldn't argue with. If God gave them the Spirit, then there could be no doubt that they were acceptable...
