How do you pronounce YHWH?
When was Hebrew invented as a language?
1800s.
There are actually some groups in the Sacred Name movement that told me that certain languages were of the devil and that the Greek N.T. was originally in Hebrew. This is not true, however some will believe anything.
Nobody knows how YHWH was pronounced to Moses. However Jesus of the New Testament is the I AM. Exodus 3:14
What is important is that In the O.T. people were not saved by the law, but by faith when they called upon the name of the LORD for that salvation.
Genesis 4:26
"And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD."
Romans 10:9, 13
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
There may be more, but I'm only aware of one translation that always uses Jehovah instead of LORD. I don't have time now to get into more details now, but will leave you with this. As to the Sacred Name / Hebrew Roots blasphemy of Mark Davidson and Lew White, I suggest you run, don't walk, to the nearest exit when you see it. I like Walter, but am disappointed with his thread.
I have Lew White's book. The thing that I first noticed after buying it, was the lack of a bibliography and the many false claims. I might just commemorate this thread by starting my incinerator with it. I've been meaning to thin out my library of clutter.

Hope you have a great day.
