Luther was mostly protesting indulgences and other RCC abuses in his 95 theses.
The main, defining principle of Luther’s understanding of the Sabbath can be
discerned in the brief, third commandment section of Luther’s Small Catechism:
The third commandment: Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. What does this mean?
We are to fear and love God, so that we do not despise the preaching of God’s Word, but instead keep
that Word holy and gladly hear and learn it. On the surface, Luther’s explanation is straightforward—
about as straightforward as Luther can be. For Luther, the Sabbath is (all) about the hearing of the word
of God. Luther’s elaborations of this commandment emphasize and develop certain words, namely “hear,”
“learn,” “holy,” “Word,” and “preaching.” These elaborations are found in The Large Catechism and several
of Luther’s other writings on the subject of Sabbath. Taken together, Luther’s reflections add up to a
useful framework, one that amounts to a “middle way” between strict, legalistic Sabbath keeping on the
one hand, and Sabbath neglect on the other. In order to establish this middle way, Luther’s teachings reject
certain Sabbath understandings and practices common to other traditions—especially those traditions
Luther might have understood as legalistic. At the same time, Luther expends tough language for those
who disregard the Sabbath or abandon it altogether. Above all, Luther asserts that any and all Sabbath
practices should revolve around one primary concern, namely, the hearing and learning of God’s Word. source
God worked for six days, it was the Sabbath God blessed for us when he rested from his work and asks us to rest from our six days of work. Christ is God, and God is with us 24/7 and we live with God's blessings, but the blessing I am speaking of is the special blessing of the Sabbath.
It is about resting from work for salvation... which is by grace through faith in the shed righteous blood of Jesus Christ,
Who was purposed from before the foundation of the world to be a propitiatory sacrifice for those who would believe.
Jesus was sent only to those under the law, the Jews. The apostle Paul was sent to the Gentiles. If you wish to know how a Gentile lives the Christian life. Then read Paul's letters.
If you just read what Jesus spoke, then you will end up with a hybrid, law/grace gospel.
You have not replied to my question. Do you have just one line where Gentiles are commanded to obey the law?
The Gentiles that abide by the law of Noah, were never given the command to obey the sabbath.
Even in Acts 15, where the apostles issue the commandments the Gentiles must abide by. We still have no sabbath commandment.
I have never found in the scripture that Gentiles are told to obey the ten commandments.
Jesus is the greatest gift and having Him in our heart 24-7 is the greatest blessing.
But the question remains...
Are you being lawless if you choose not to obey the 4th commandment?
Are you transgressing the law when you do not keep the sabbath day holy?
Many of the 10 commandments are not repeated in the new testament but are readily accepted as a moral law.
If you are looking for reasons to not keep it holy you will convince yourself.
But think of it like this...
It was made holy at creation.
It was keep before the Ten commandments were given.
It was keep by Jesus.
It was keep by after Jesus died.
Nowhere are we told to not keep it holy. And nowhere are we told that it would be made void by God.
There may not be a verse that states that we are to continue keeping it holy after this time. But there are many verses that state we are to keep the law and keep the commandments.
Jas 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

Mat 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
The sabbath was made for all man kind by God, Jesus.
Sunday worship was made for man by man.
It isn't about Jew or Gentile. If you study history. The Christians believed they were parts of Gods people (Israelites, or jews, by faith.)
It was the Jews that rejected the Christians and forced them to not worship with them.
Sabbath keeping was normal for Christians and didn't become an issue until Sunday worship was introduced because of paganism and to separate the christians from the Jews.
Matthew and Luke were written about 30 plus years after the death of Jesus. Mark about 10 years and John about 50 years..
And they don't say anything about a change from the sabbath to sunday or about the sabbath not being kept.

Not even Moses was Jewish... so what has Jewishness got to do with keeping the Sabbath?

Conclusion: No, 'The Body Of Christ' is not in lawless transgression, when not sabbath ( shadow ) keeping, which was "Given By God as 'a sign to Israel'"

Everything. the seventh day Sabbath was given to Israel.
But after Christ finished His perfect work of redemption and rose again on the first day of the week, the sabbaths are merely "shadows", and the reality is Christ. And only unbelieving Jews and Seventh Day Adventists observe the Sabbath. So what do Christians do instead? They observe " the Lord's Day" on the first day of the week. It supersedes the Sabbath.
But that is exactly what the Bible says. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. (Exod 31:15-17)
The "children of Israel" were the twelve tribes of Israel, and the Sabbath was a "sign" between God and Israel. Later on Jesus of Nazareth had to show the Jews that doing good and doing good works on Sabbath days was "lawful". But their religious leaders hated Him for healing on the Sabbath days. However, since Christ is "Lord of the Sabbath" He gave Christians "the Lord's Day" instead.
I'm not judging, just persuaded that the 4th commandment is not a shadow law.
The sabbath was made holy and set aside at creation. The sabbath was given before sin and before we needed a saviour.
What is a shadow. No saviour = no shadow of a saviour.
After sin laws were introduced that pointed to Jesus and how Jesus would save us.
God does not change, and does not make mistakes.
If He sanctified the seventh day and made it holy, when and where did He unsanctify and say it is no longer holy.

Jesus was referring to the sabbath in the future and it was still important.
Prove that the Lords day is sunday. Many think it is with no evidence.

God chose Israel to be His people but anyone that wanted to could join God's people by obeying.
It isn't about the blood line but about obedience.
All scripture is for all humans, ir is explained in Galatians 3:28. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
It is not true that some scripture is for Jews and off limits for gentiles, or some scripture is only for Jews. God created a Jewish race out of a gentile, it was to teach a race to illustrate God to all man when gentiles wouldn't listen to Him. As God spoke to this special race, but over and over OT scripture points out that what he says is for Jew and gentile.
