Found in my movie/tv section of the school library books on the tv series x-Files. So old!

No books about Friends but plenty of chapter books with friendship as the theme. They now have little diamante heart stickers on the spine.

I want to get rid of the ugly couches though. Seriously someone always dumps their old ugly couches in the library. We have two nice newish green suede ones that can seat three or more, but we have these awful black leather type ones that can only seat two at a pinch with chrome trim like something out of a 1980s office.

People dont make friends on those types of couches. The juniors use them as slides. You cant even put cushions on them they will slide off.

Fought the ugly couch war and lost

I also found an ipad down the back of one sofa. But it wasnt the one I had that went missing.

at my new school, Im trying to surreiptiously teach children how to make friends with each other, but its early days yet. Im breaking up a lot of fights. Lots of little people seem to chase each other around and theres always petty squabbles over nothing. I might have to start a buddy system where they walk in two by two instead of a huge long line all at once. I have thousands of books in the library but there will always be two kids fighting over ONE book they both want and tearing it apart.

Chess and book making seem to work as a buddy activity

I read Spare in which Prince Harry single and alone watches Friends. Then he muses that he really IS Chandler. He eventually does meet up with Courtney Cox who played Monica but shes taken, so he goes with Meghan Markle instead, off another tv show.

Not content with having scandalous stories in the press made up about him he then decides to go on Oprah, and make his own tv show, the Harry and Meghan Show on Netflix.

His pa might be pleased his son finally got into acting, although Meghan is no thespian and probably has never done any Shakespeare. However hes now on tv which is the next best thing. Alls well that ends well. Exeunt through ye olde gift shoppe.

Harry claims in his book that he crashed Courtney Coxes party at her house, ate magic mushrooms from her fridge and hallucinated in the bathroom with a trash can.

However I couldnt make any head or tail of it when I read this episode in the book as it just didnt make any sense at all to me.

Um why and what was the point. About as much fun as someone retelling how wasted they got in the weekend, couldnt remmeber anything and vomitted in the bushes.

Lanolin, On a Friday night, let’s say about 8:00 pm I could come with you to the school and we could get the ugly couches out of there. I would bring a truck. The two of us could get them out of there. I May or May Not also Hide a few books you have while I am there! Then you would get to Guess where they are and look for them! 🙃

will have to circumvent the alarm ...once they are in the truck then where would they go? I would just move them to the lobby or one of the principals office....or the staffroom.

We could move them to the principals office! I guess the one negative thing is it a long, hot 🥵 walk as the Air Conditioning would be off in the evening. Would you help me move the couches or would you just sit in them when I push a trolley carrying them one at a time??

You just want to hold the door open?!? All the work is basically on me?!?! Would you help hold one end of the couch? We get it in the principals office and the door closes. I didn’t realize it locks in two directions?!?! We are locked in!! And it is Friday?!?! So no school for two more days?!?!

I am having deja vu. This is just like the old school escape room. We have to find out the combination of the lock to unlock the cupboard to find the key that unlocks the door to open the safe that has the password to turn the computer on to return all the books.

Hahaha. This might be hard?!?! Why is it so hot in the principals office?!? It is hard for me to focus! Here I am grabbing something to try with the door…

I found the secret button that opens the trap door that drops you below into the tunnel that leads to the library through the little door under the staircase. Unfortunately the door is only so wide so you need to drink this magic potion that shrinks you to mouse size. I found it inside one of the fake books on the Principals bookshelf. All those Encyclopaedia Britannicas are hollow!

Heres the thing, why are there never any of those bookshelves in libraries where you push them and they swing open and lead you into a secret passage. to Narnia?

I have a beef with school architects that think children can actually learn in open plan spaces. If they were really that cheap, what they could do is just build one huge warehouse and have the entire school in one big box building. And call it MLE 'the modern learning environment'

I'm very disappointed in peoples memoirs these days.

A sober person will have a great memory but a drunk or addicts memories are pretty much shot.
I am not sure that its a great idea for them to be writing books at how wasted they got.

If I were a cast member of Friends, my memoir would not be about myself and how I got wasted and couldnt remember anything but about my friends...but there is precious little friendship going on that Matthew Perry remembers

His long suffering lesbian flatmate is his only friend it seems because he cant live with any other woman he would immediately sleep with. If there is a cry for help here its for fathers to not abandon their babies at 9 months old.

I would like to believe that in the tv series Friends, when Chandler and Monica move out of Manhattan with their twins to Westchester, they live happily ever after. But whos to say that CHandler doesnt take off when it gets too hard, leaving Monica with the babies. It was Monica who wanted to marry Chandler not the other way round.

In real life, Courtney Cox was pregnant at the end of the series and did have a daughter to her then husband David Arquette, but that marriage didnt last long when he decided he didnt want to be a dad and took off.

I often wonder why men do this. Its very common, they have wife, then children, the wife starts losing her looks by being fat and pregnant and too busy looking after their child, so the husband then thinks he can take off and have a mistress? In what way do men think this is acceptable?

I loved Friends! Its one of my all time favorite tv shows. Chandler was my favorite one. I think I liked him, because I could be a little goofy like him at times lol. My dream girl was Jennifer Aniston for about twenty years. I'm not that crazy about her anymore. Not sure why. I think Friends was awesome from 94 - 01, but the 02 - 04 episodes were hard to watch. Just thought I would put that out there.

I think Joey was my favourite. He was so popular he had a spin off series called Joey. But all I remember of that one is he had a loudmouth sister who liked bossing him around.

There should have been a series called The Bings. Monica and Chandlers move to the suburbs and raise their twins, Monica becomes a crazy soccer mum, Chandler loses his job but eventually finds his calling, Stand up Comedy. He becomes famous which doesnt bode well for their marriage, until he incorporates his wife and children into his act.

The trick is to get the man involved with childcare and household duties. I dont see how any parent has free time especially in the early years.

A lof women are also less interested in sex after kids, that's one reason.
