Despite what some may say God cares about you

6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

I live in the US and things are very peaceful where I am.
Jeremiah 14:13 Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.

14 Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

15 Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

16 And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters: for I will pour their wickedness upon them.

17 Therefore thou shalt say this word unto them; Let mine eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease: for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow.

Nothing worth doing ever came easy

Following your convictions means you must be willing to endure criticism from those who lack the same courage to do what is right.

Relish the opportunity to go outside the camp and bear the Lord's reproach.

Stand with the Lord to restrain the wolves, they are coming after the sheep.

It's a great ad.

Do you think it is as good as Biden's ads?
I've never watched a Biden ad. But I really can't listen to Democrats anymore.
When Obama was President he gave a speech and I sat my kids down to listen with me. I gave them each a paper and pen and one instruction: make a list of statements that don't seem true to you.
I recorded 8 lies. Most of the kids had at least 5. It's only gotten worse since then. I just don't have the stomach for it any more.

"To work just as hard for those who voted for him as for those who didn't. To be a president for all Americans."

Sorry can't watch. I'll just start counting lies again. But I hope there are those who believe the future is better with him in office will watch and compare his rhetoric to his actions.
And I do appreciate the time it took to get it before me. Very kind of you.

Yes, Obama was a great season. Season 7 or 8 if I remember correctly.
Great orator and the KoolAid was flowing profusely, all the peoples had a sense of Hope and we were going to the end of the universe and fix everything etcetera etcetera.
What we got instead was a lot of presidential authorized drone strikes and an apology tour.

Then we got the anti-Obama. That was an ever better season.
The shock on the Obama’s faces, especially Michelle was priceless. How could this be?
This wasn’t the “yes we can” we were chanting for! This was the opposite of that!
The sadness and depression on their faces got many views on that season and the tears on the Democrat’s team’s side were entertaining to watch when Hillary didn’t shatter that glass ceiling.

Trump had a great run on season 9-10 with the media and it was awesome to watch.
Trump was a bull in a China shop and we loved it.

But at the end of season 10 we got a nursing home patient for a President.
America wanted a more quiet season so we opted for nursing home material instead.

But before these seasons we also had other great ones.
Bush JR! “He offended my daddy” so we attacked Sadam (that was a cool action season) and we installed patriot act. Very awesome.

Before him we had the original suave man who didn’t have sexual relations with that woman but that depends on what the meaning of the word IS is.

Before him we had bush senior who was skilled in international affairs but boring at home so we didn’t want 2 seasons of him.

And before him was the original entertainer the original actor from Hollywood : Ronald Regan.
He’s highly praised even today for his actin skills and we liked him because he was a good actor.

Before him (season 2-3 maybe) we had Jimmy Carter , the original tree huger who installed solar panels at the White House.
He was cool for a while but then we got bored with him and switched to a better actor.

And so on and so forth.
America has had great seasons so enjoy them all.

You‘re a few seasons too late.
‘Regular shocking statements and mass shootings are not getting enough views anymore.

I was referring to the doctrine of endless wars. Wars where the peons and serfs get caught in the crossfire, and children are slaughtered. Sickening. But evidently not so sickening that Johnson, Z, the EU nutters or Blinken would plead for it to end any time soon.

But then again, they reside in Elysium. Not down here is the dirt.

I mean yes I agree with you and I think I’ve mentioned here somewhere that it’s always the innocent who pay the price for the egos of men.

They haven't yet taken him down. Indictment does not equate guilt. And the charges are under seal. So what exactly did they indict him for?

A lot can happen between now and next week.
I expect the whole hot mess to get tossed. At least I hope so.

I think that not only of what I read in this forum which is hilarious by the way but also by talking to people in real life for 30 years.
Maybe you don’t think like most do but that’s easily tested by a question.
‘Do you think guns are a problem in mass shootings?
I think you miss the point. Guns are the opportunity for the sick mind bent on mass slaughter.

It's the mind that is the issue in school shootings. Guns are just what afford the opportunity to execute the plan.

Guns stop mass murderers. As happened in the Tennessee Christian school massacre. Not before the mentally ill woman took out six innocents. However she was certainly stopped from taking out masses more.
And she shot her way into the locked school.

If it wasn't guns it would be a vehicle, as we know from reports of mentally ill people running down innocents.

Or, it would be knives. Or pipe bombs. Or poisons.

If we did t have guns in the beginning of this country we'd be speaking the kings English and would serve Great Britain today.

You don't have to like guns. Just don't make absurd false claims about people who do respect their right to own them.

Oh but this is the whole point when absurdities are spoken which many Christians would like to link to guns as some sort of a moral reason or a god-given reason to justify their insanity.
‘Anyone can then take that reasoning and justify another insanity such as mutilating body parts and acceptance “In the name of love”.

So maybe just maybe your position should be a non-judgmental neutral in this whole show.

Look man......possessing firearms and the right to self-defense is enshrined in law. Period.
You are chafing against settled law and it is senseless.
