That Hawaiian coffee has powerful flavor. It must be the volcanic soil. Those good quality varieties are high end flavor but much smoother than the cheaper big brand ones.
Well, it's past my bedtime. I look forward to a couple cups in the morning with the Word.
Hope you enjoyed a spiritual sleep. The Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee is rated best in the world. best way to enjoy it is grind it just before you make, keep it in a cool dry place & tightly wrapped. Coffee is similar to wine, even the experts can hardly tell a difference. But with JBM & a few others, i can tell a difference.

I don't know if my sleep was, but I woke up thanking the Father for the day and had a tear in my eye out of gratitude that He adopted me into the family.

Yes sir, I don't know that I'm an expert, but I like the organic light roasts best. Then it's nice to try something different too. Blue Mountain is a very good brand. They sell it at my local store. Lord willing, when I open a health store, I might just carry it. I do want to sell a couple healthy brands. There was a move to demonize it for the caffeine when I was a boy. I even had a pastor who said it was sinful. He had no problem with chocolate though. I think he liked chocolate.
Lol! The medical studies are finally catching up. There are many health benefits if you don't use sugar or hydrogenated creamers, like the dispensers at the convenience stores use.

I've heard a lot of caffeine is hard on your adrenals. Is that true? I don't drink much coffee but like to every so often.

the 'demonize coffee" statement & the pastor who said coffee was evil was "paralysis by analysis" of those people. i heard of parents who said playing cards was evil. super ridiculous! although coffee is not the best choice for energy (chia seeds are much better), it certainly isn't evil. i only use sucanat, honey or maple syrup for sweeteners.

It sure is easy to overdo it and start feeling nervous, or let it substitute for normal energy. A lot of college students cramming for midterms and finals will stay up all night drinking mountain dew, monster energy, or coffee for that purpose. Anytime a person feels stressed, caffeinated beverages aren't a good idea. There are options to stabilize adrenals, There's a way to help prevent it stressing the adrenals.

Do you like a particular kind of Coffee?

Yeah I know sometimes coffee makes me extra talkative lol!

I'm not a conniseur of coffee for sure, but I do prefer organic if I'm drinking real coffee. A lot of times I drink Caffix, a natural coffee substitute. I like iced coffee sweetened with honey but I usually don't sweeten hot drinks. I'm actually more of a hot tea drinker than coffee especially in the winter.

Lol....me too.

I never tried Caffix. Is that in the tea section?
I might give that a try.
I like hot teas too, make a couple herbal ones from local sources and have a bunch in my pantry. I usually drink water and then ginkgo biloba before coffee.

I'm not sure if they sell it at a place like Wal-Mart... Kroger might have it or a natural foods store.

Yeah it's not always good if I get more talkative cuz I'm not too quiet to begin with. Lol.

Okay, that's neat you make your own tea. We've done that too with like mullein. A couple summers ago I learned how to make a Mennonite specialty, meadow tea, made with fresh mint in the summer. You crush the leaves and stems with sugar then rinse and strain and add water then serve cold. If I made it at home I'd use less or no sugar and use stevia or something instead. But it's so good!

😄 I've never heard you talk, but that's alright by me. I've "heard" you write and like it.

I'm surrounded by a LOT of it and then harvest Ginko separately from a local tree before the leaves drop early Fall.
I've grown a couple mints before. It makes any tea combo taste better doesn't it? Your tea sounds really good. I use Stevia too and just bought a jar of black strap molasses.
In fact, I visited family today and forgot to stop at Krogers for the coffee. They were out of the particular variety of light roast when I was last there. I'm going to go there now before it gets too late. Talk to you later.

I went to buy the coffee and it was better than I even hoped. I had a coupon for a dollar off the sale price for that brand that I wasn't aware of. They also got the light roast in (favorite) since I was last there, my favorite. I bought a bag of the Pacific Rim too. I guess it was the kind grown in volcanic soil maybe. It came to .....get this.....$1.99 each! Lol! Those are all bags organic coffee. What is great is that it wasn't merely a good sale. It was definitely our Father at work in the details.
😄👍☕ ☕

Further confirmation started that morning.
First thing in the morning I take out my lunch or frozen meat that needs to thaw for later. I lifted up something that was covering a package of top quality bacon. I picked it up and thought, No, I'm saving this for a special occasion or recipe. It's my last package of bacon and it's my favorite.

Greenfield Natural Meat Company
Pork Humanely raised, gluten free, 100% vegetarian fed, Crate Free, Not preserved, No nitrates or nitrites added, No artificial ingredients, minimally processed.
Pigs raised in a compassionate and responsible way...housed in an environment that promotes natural behavior....taken for daily walks at the piggie park.....given personal names and scratched behind the ears.....🐷
😉

This is the GOOD bacon..🐖
Guess what?
I rarely buy bacon.
While I was there, I checked the bacon section for some reason. I went straight to the kind I like and they had JUST marked that exact kind down to $2.10 ! It was perfect timing because that would have been sold out within an hour. The expiration date is over a month away. It's fresh! Again, it wasn't that it was a sale for next to nothing. It was a gift from the Lord because of His kindness. He saw me find that package that was buried in my chest freezer and wanted to bless His boy.
He showed that this was no coincidence.
🙏
I am so grateful He loves us so much that He would take time to speak to me even while shopping.

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."
James 1:17

Isn't our Father awesome?

Yes He is. And I think it's really good to be able to recognize His hand in details like that. We truly do serve a loving Father.
