Hyperbole has no place in setting an example for people who would commit murder!!! He was saying, in essence, that murder is okay for himself and, by implication, his followers.
It is also in direct opposition to what Jesus taught! Can you imagine Jesus aying "since I am the Son of God, I can kill a person and get away with it"???

Jesus didn't tell us to kill others, He told us to take up our cross and follow Him. Paul was the one who told us to put our old man to death.
However, Jesus did say preaching the gospel was like mud wrestling, which is why even when we are clean we still need our feet to be washed, they are shod with the gospel of peace.

You guys have more patience than I to entertain their efforts at doing what the DS Left does sooo well...
creating distractions, diversions, deflections, deceptions, dis-information, decoys and slight of hand change in direction (pay no attention to my hand behind my back - just focus upon the hand being waved in public)...
