So Jesus did not warn us that children will deliver their parents up to death and parents will deliver their children ....

.... how awful IS this persecution [tribulation]?

Folks try to say that this is the Jews but that doesn't make sense, if a Jewish child delivers up her Parents for being Jewish she is declaring that she also is Jewish and the same with parents. No this persecution Jesus warned about is against the church who will refuse the mark of the beast.

The end-times will be perilous.
We have been thru this dozens of times. And still you just don't "get it".
For the most part (except for a portion of Luke 21 describing the destruction of Jerusalem) the Olivet Discourse is speaking to THE JEWS. Israelites. Exclusively. The place and time is ISRAEL and THE 70TH WEEK OF DANIEL aka the time of Jacobs trouble.

The vast majority of people, Christians and non-Christians alike, fail to understand this crucial matter. Blame the teachers and pastors.

that's what I just said to you

Jewish children will not deliver up their parents unto death for if they did they will be giving themselves up.

It was to the Gentiles that Paul warned that the end-times would be perilous.

I am not alarmist my brother but I believe we are just a whisker away from having to choose whether we will take that mark of the beast or die. We see it creeping up on us ever closer almost daily. It is creeping up like a lion but it will suddenly leap upon us.

Watch ... pray

WRONG again. Those verses appear in Luke 21:16. As usual, you have failed to rightly comprehend Luke 21 verses 12 thru 24. All of which describe the events of the 70AD siege of Jerusalem.

Luk 21:12
But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.

Luk 21:24
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Please PLEASE review this QUICK 5 MINUTE video. God willing it will help clear out this ridiculously persistent the fog in everyone's mind...

While I appreciate your sentiments, your Biblical exegesis on the matter is absurdly incorrect and woefully in error. And you are not the only one.

PLEASE try and put forth some effort to understand exactly what the "TIMES OF THE GENTILES" refer to. There is no excuse in failing to understand this concept. It is related exclusively to Israel.

Luk 21:24
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Luk 13:35
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Mar 14:25
Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

Act 3:21
Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

For those who remain confused about aforementioned UNTIL verses, allow me to elaborate:

All of those verses speak to a specific group of people and specific time frame.
The group of people are exclusively ISRAELITES. The time frame is FUTURE and relate to (Luke 21:24 close to) the DOTL/70th week/time of Jacobs trouble/Second Coming.

We the Church ARE NOT spoken to. We are NOT ensnared in the 70th week tribulation. We do NOT suffer wrath. We the Church are not the THEM of 1Thes 5:3.....

1Th 5:3
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Rev 3:10
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from G1537 the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

G1537 - ek - Strong's Greek Lexicon (kjv) (blueletterbible.org)
Outline of Biblical Usage
  1. out of, from, by, away from

I believe all Christians will be raptured but I don't believe it's how many say it will be. From interpretation, the only way Christians will be raptured is unto death because of the persecution of the faithless. That will leave Israel as the only Children of Heaven roaming the earth til Christ returns.

I don't know how many believe the way I do tho.
Hi.. I am confused and anyone can chime in. Maybe you just worded it wrong. Here you say "all Christians will be" later you said " all Christians are". The main question is how did you come to this conclusion "There is physical rapture which is for Israel after the first resurrection of the faithful, and there is spiritual rapture for the gentiles who will be persecuted off the face of the earth. "

I know Israel but as Isaac was we are the children of promise. Christ coming in the clouds shout, voice, trump aka caught up was being said to the Church to all that believe in trust in cling to :) Christ. Its the "which is for Israel" I am trying to understand. :) thanks

My time-line
The Great tribulation ... the Rapture ... God's wrath ...
The Great Tribulation cannot come before the Rapture, nor can it come before the Tribulation (which is parallel to the reign of the Antichrist). God's wrath is displayed in both the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation. So we need to see the proper sequence of events.
