Picked up a 2023 £2 silver Britannia - first of the new King’s reign. Last year I picked up a 2022 for the last year of Elizabeth II. My paternal grandmother’s family is British, and having cousins in the UK still, I like to have the one-off British things myself. I’ve been there several times, but it’s been a few years. Picking up the new sovereign’s coin today made me wanna go back - soon!

I used to collect coins, but now I usually just look at the special ones, appreciate the artwork, and put them in the coin jar.

I think the Britannias are the most beautiful billion coins in the world. I have a 2 ounce Lion of England coin (£5 face value) and that is a work of art as well.
