I think we can look at this in two ways

1. God created slowly (millions of Year) in order to let process take place for the earth to sustain life as it was in adams day. Then God created man - We see this in the evolution or gap theories or what many call an Old Age Theory

2. God created the heavens and the earth in an apparent "aged" state. in which life was immediately able to be created and spread through out the earth. This is the 6 day theory, where everything from water/land/plant/animal life/ the sun, the moon and the stars were all created at one time in that six day period. And Man was also created in this time period. God then rested on the 7th day.. This is called the young earth or young age theory..

I hold to number 2

I believe most if not all science through archeology, fossile record, and geology is explained by a massive great cataclysmic even we know as called noah's flood..
My condolencces, both of those are just theories based on the "millions of years" theory of Darwinism. If the earth were millions of years old, then we would have no magnettic field to protect us. It is proven that the field is slowly deteriorating, and has a life expectancy of only 10,000 years. Why are the finding viable dinosoaur tissue in Wyoming if million of years were the case? That Tissue is only viable for about one thousand years. Why is the flood proven beyond a reasonable doubt by science? Why is all of the fossils fount in a "catastrophy position? Why is there NO transitional fossils of species? Why in the cambrian period, was the Cambriaan Explosion of Life" found, and nothing is in the layers underneath that one? You ahve believed the "Doctrine of Darwin" which totally contradicts the Holy Word of God. Be like th ancient Bereans and search for the truth. Here is where to start to unlearn all of the errors you were taught.
The point is that God did make something out of nothing. That is the secular scientist talking in you. Who made the atoms? Who made the molecules? How can an electron micrograph of protein synthesis show a walking molecule on a molecular strand of protien stopping or stepping off another passing perpendicular to it? God's exclusive providence over His creation. You don't have to have a materials list, as in secular science to know this concept. An all-powerful being outside of this creation and outside of time can and did make something out of nothing. It was His discretion to do so. They did not have as many words in the ancient Hebrew language during early biblical times. You may be looking into the Hebrew text and trying to extrapolate meaning with Strong's Concordance, but you are not even scratching the surface of the context of the wording. Next time take into consideration the true context of the word before rushing to conclusions my friend. What you believe is a form of Darwinism, which is a false religion. Look here to see what I mean to "unlearn all of the errors you were taught by man. The true age of the earth is only 6,000 years old. https://www.icr.org/

Job 40:

1 Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said,

2 Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.

God challenges those who contendeth with the Almighty to answer the following:

Job 38:

1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.

5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?

6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;

7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?

9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,

10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,

11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?

12 Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;

13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

14 It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.

15 And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.

16 Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?

17 Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?

18 Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.

19 Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,

20 That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof?

21 Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great?

22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,

23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

24 By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?

25 Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;

26 To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;

27 To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?

28 Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?

29 Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?

30 The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.

31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?

32 Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?

33 Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

34 Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?

35 Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, and say unto thee, Here we are?

36 Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?

37 Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,

38 When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?

39 Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,

40 When they couch in their dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait?

41 Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.

Job 39:

1 Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve?

2 Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth?

3 They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows.

4 Their young ones are in good liking, they grow up with corn; they go forth, and return not unto them.

5 Who hath sent out the wild ass free? or who hath loosed the bands of the wild ass?

6 Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwellings.

7 He scorneth the multitude of the city, neither regardeth he the crying of the driver.

8 The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing.

9 Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?

10 Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?

11 Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?

12 Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it intothy barn?

13 Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?

14 Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,

15 And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.

16 She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear;

17 Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding.

18 What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider.

19 Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?

20 Canst thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils isterrible.

21 He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on to meet the armed men.

22 He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword.

23 The quiver rattleth against him, the glittering spear and the shield.

24 He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage: neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet.

25 He saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.

26 Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south?

27 Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?

28 She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place.

29 From thence she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off.

30 Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she.

If they're smart, they'll answer as Job did:

Job 40:

3 Then Job answered the LORD, and said,

4 Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.

5 Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.

I am confused.

I gave the 2 theories that are widely believed about creation.

I then stated I believe the 2nd view (young earth)

and you attack me as being a darwinist?

You need to learn how to read my friend.. You did not read all the way through or you would have caught your mistake

Of course secular science doesn't get proven by scripture....
Law of entropy demans that nothing can be made of something but not the inverse. Because we are human. We can destroy but we can't make anything out of nothing.

Genesis 1:1 is the first line of a poetic section of scripture. Today it is traditionally sung when in Hebrew. It is by design that it's an incomplete sentence. Because of the propensity of people to claim any word means a "something" it was written in a manner to where it doesn't have a word there to turn into something. It's poetry with a clear meaning of what happened.

There's any number of ways this verse could have been stated and other verbs used for "make". But this verb "bara" is a prepositional verb that demands a material for the creating. You can Bara a stone table, wood table, metal table, ceramic table or whatever....but a material is demanded by the use of this verb.
And the material is deliberately left out...because it's poetry and clear in meaning.

And when we get to Genesis 3 we see that Humans can create sin and death....God cannot sin.

So secular science is incomplete and wrong....big deal. I have faith in God and not men.

Show me scripture to support your opinion, then we can talk.
So much to show and i do not have my notes with me so i will show you where i stand on this breifly.

Jesus said to mary not to touch him for he had not ascended yet. Then later we see hat Thomas as told to examine his wounds.
Jesus being high priest and first fruits had to present himself to the father. When firstfruits are gathered they are not handled by human hands and only the high priest could offer them to GOD.
My conclusion is that Jesus ascended twice. Once to offer first fruits and the other which was witnessed to be seated at the right hand of the father to fulfill prophecy.
Firstfruits and the counting of the omer is inbetween passover and pentecost...also the wave offering.

The highest recognized school for mental illness had a professor from John Hopkins University create a war by claiming in the Battle Same Sex people are born this way from a Scientific standpoint.

I thought it was hilarious this professor just went right at them and settled on trannies are mental ill in a serious kind of way.

But that led me to think about how is it possible Natural Selection would allow those Genetics that will not keep the Species alive. So really, those people are seriously mental in a serious kind of way.
No one is born a homosexual or lesbian. it is true we all are born sinners. if someone doesn't believe that just watch a couple of babies play together. soon enough they are going to be hitting each other & stealing each others toys. No one taught them how to do that. someone BECOMES a lesbian or homosexual thru the devil's influence. the devil knows all of our weaknesses, generational sins & disobediences even who we baking in the womb.

The resurrection has nothing to do with the creation. Totally out of the ballpark concerning the subject.

God creation was in 6 days out of nothing he created... hebrew word for created was to make something from nothing.
Moses affirms 6 day creation.
Scripture tells us that JESUS created all that was created and holds it together.

Agreed!

But it is interesting that the main go to excuse for same sex genetics is that Science claims it is natural.

But in the first Law of Evolution is Natural Selection and by rule of the function of Natural Selection same sex genetics would be destroyed and murdered.

Here is the answer:

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning (time) God (who) created (energy) the heavens (space) and the earth (matter), This is how a loving God tells the shepherds of old what he truly did. This is the simplicity of the gospel in its purest form. God made it simple, while man complicates it because we are all living in a fallen world.
Genesis 1:1,2 are God's record which shows that He is the creator of the Universe (indeed of all things). He does not tell us when it took place, simply "In the beginning". It is not important when it took place. It is important that we accept by faith that He did it. Verse 3 commences the beginning of His six creative acts to prepare the Earth for mankind and to place us on it. Every one of these six creative acts commences with the words "Then God said" or equivalent in other translations. Those words are what separates the six creative acts from verse 1 and 2. True science, not false atheist science is in complete harmony with Scripture.

Yes, Jesus was the "Agent of Creation".

And it was in 6 days because God declared that they were days....no other reason. (Good enough for me) Sun, moon, and stars weren't created until day 4.

So were the "days" literally 24hour periods of time?
I have no idea. I don't really care either. It's not relevant or pertinent for anything except numerology and typology. And just because the scriptures don't say that God created "time" itself doesn't mean that He didn't.

The Bible is not a manual on how to create a universe. Or a detailed explanation of how God did it all. That's not the purpose of Genesis. God has no need to explain himself to us.

scientific proof of what?

I have studied this for a few decades. Actually changed my view. I was an avid gap theorist, which about 10 years ago repented and became a young earth theorist..

The creation museum down by cincinatti ohio helped change my view

Jesus said to mary not to touch him for he had not ascended
Hebrews 9:9,11-12,14 KJV
Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; [11] But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; [12] Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. [14] How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

He said “touch me not” so that He could offer himself “without spot”
The blood of Christ is there on the mercy seat for us.
“by his own blood he entered”

I agree totally.
Gen 1:1 begins with in the beginning that being said it is a starting point for creation so i take it to mean time.
The misapplied scripture ....a thousand yrs as one day to GOD has many convinced of a longer period of creation but scripture shows us that GOD framed time into the eve and morning....again found in creation scripture. Moses affirms the days.

God created Time by claiming, in the Beginning...

Another interesting thing you mentioned is length of days in hours/ ??

One thing is positive by the time Adam was involved, the Earth most likely was on a 24 hour daily cycle.

All other creation like trees, grass, herbs, insects down to microorganisms could survive day lengths of years if needed.

But life for animals and humans appear to be designed around a 24 hour cycle. So no doubt days 5 and 6 were most likely running on a 24 hour daily cycle.

But all of that is just guessing. Not enough information here.

But I do like the Disciples of the Apostle John's claim.

Creation was a total of 6 days work and one day rest. The Earth will exist 6,000 years and be renewed for another 1,000 years for the Mill Reign.

What happened in Genesis Chapter One only set off the Timer, whether a day was years long or 24 hours, the 6 days and One for Rest is the true format.

We're definitely getting closer and closer to the 6,000 year mark. That is for certain.
