I would like to agree with you but that is not the case. People have self identified as homosexual. The after effects of such an event will not be good no matter how 'good' it may feel in the moment. I do know what I am talking about here and I am not anti-spiritual gifts. However it is better to acknowledge the truth in the matter of what was going on rather than to accept it along with the false spirits that accompany such things.

It gives me no pleasure to say the above and I do not want to insult anyone here. This, is not God.
Do you have some inside knowledge of the college? Do you live or attend there?

Well in that case we DO have a VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM. Revival means repentance, and repentance means a total repudiation of sexual perversion and deviation.

None of these people have any knowledge of the school or anything going on. I watched the video and they refused to cite where they got this information.

You know 2020 this prophet talked about a revival coming.. and also something with a "train" and we need to be praying. The same man in 2016 and then June I think 2019 said the lord said a pandemic world wide but the unscrupulous will take advantage of it.

Revival.. comes with a cost that fact most of us thats you and me are not willing to change. Oh we will month the words but in our hearts we are not willing to change. So in His great mercy and grace we do not see it happening much. For when it does there is some that get judged.. He has to.. it can never ever be in His presence.

So Asbury.. praise GOD glory to Jesus.. not standing in His way.. just here I am use me.. and gladly be apart since there is no time and space when God moves. But it all was foretold. If you do not believe HE will never go against your will. Me? Praise GOD ALWAYS saying "Son of David.. please don't pass me by" :)

Oh I love this song "What do I know of Holy Addison Road" ....

I guess you didn't watch the video that was presented? or did you?

I have very inside knowledge of the type of occurrence that has occurred there both now and in the past.

No proof, just rumors, most likely started by people who are against Charismatics. See how easy it is to spread lies and half truths?
Interesting. However, and I know you did not address the above remark to me, I am not against spiritual gifts. Again, if you watch the video, you might be better informed and if you did watch it and choose to ignore what one participant in particular says about himself, then it shall be ignored.

I feel you enter an environment like a Movement of God or possible Revival with awareness and acceptance by expecting God to do what He hasn't in awhile.

It's easy to learn what Verses are being used and interpretation is being Preached to know if this is God to begin with.

There will be Truth and it will be full of the Presence of God that where foolishness is not happening but the Holy Spirit is FREE to Move.
Gee I'm sorry but I take exception the this. God does what He does every single day and He does not change.

People change. God's word can be manipulated easily by those so inclined and it is the individual that must practice discernment and pay attention to the spirits at work. Not all of it is the Holy Spirit. A mix of spirits is a dangerous place to be unless prepared and knowledeable.

I probably sound full of myself to some, but really I am not. I am simply trying to pass along a warning for people who become so involved that discernment is forgotten and even a prompt in our spirit by the Holy Spirit is pushed aside.

I said I watched the video. They were asked to give proof of their claims and did not.

Well I don't take to second and third hand accounts. I want to know who and where information comes from. Anyone can make any kind of claim, doesn't make it true.

OK! For those who have watched the video, you don't have to look far down the page to notice this...

"Brother, I love your stuff. Just FYI: As an Asbury Alum, and the father of two current students, both of whom were part of the worship teams, I can verify two things: 1.) Asbury does not affirm any of this nonesense. Anybody KNOWN (that's key) to have these attitudes was not allowed to lead anything. 2.) If it did happen (as the Elijah's claim), it was by accident because the leadership didn't know about it. Both seminary and university mantain a biblical stance on these issues, but no administration can control what students say on their social media feeds. I also know that several students wer personally and directly confronted about this exact issue and called upon to repent. I appreciate your ministry, brother, and thought you might like to know this.

So in the future lest be careful about what we say when we know nothing about the situation. One person being a fake does not change the fact that sincere students and visitors have experienced a touch from God. Every revival has has people that try to take over and hinder it. The young man is a liar. Period. Has nothing to do with the school or the others who are sincere.

The revivals I've been to throughout my life always focused on the preaching of the word of God and very little singing. Only the word of God can change people's lives.

Good question. I don't even know if the school has called it a revival. To me personally a revival is outward reaching, people come to know the Lord, people change their lives and repent. But that doesn't mean all people will do so. People have free choice. It's a move of God to revive saints and bring in people from the community who become saved.

To revive the believer...to bring about a fresh outlook on who we are in Christ and the our ministry of reconciliation.

I totally agree with you on the whole matter. I looked at that video but there was no source at all. We don't even know if that was part of the Asbury event. This is the internet where things can get edited to be anything a manipulator wants. We can't just immediately fall for whatever is being presented. Sheesh.

None of these people have any knowledge of the school or anything going on. I watched the video and they refused to cite where they got this information.
Who is the 'they' that supposedly refused to cite where the info came from? The video is plainly marked as to who posted it and the video contains posts from the man in the yellow sweater who plainly states he is a homosexual. So, 'these people', concerned believers in Christ, are not hiding anything and making statements to indicate otherwise, is not exactly honest unless you missed all that information.

The video is posted by an individual with a youtube channel and has over 55,000 followers. His name is Caleb Corneloup. He is also the author of a book entitled 'I Think Biblically'. Be assured you can find many people who think the same of his reporting as it seems do you and several others. I am actually not familiar with him so I cannot say I agree with all he says or writes or does. However, he does certainly seem to be spot on with regards to the claims of homosexuals and other sexual deviants being in the spotlight in Asbury.

It is not difficult to just say 'poo' when you disagree, but research on the topic would substantiate the claims of the video.

At the 2:22 minute mark he refers to the man in the yellow sweater. Frankly, I would absolutely see this particular individual as a 'gay' man myself after seeing him. Being in the field I am in, I have had an abundance of interactions with homosexuals. You can't miss them.

You are free to call that an opinion or prejudice or whatever you want, but since that man refers to himself as homosexual, that seems to clinch the 'assumption' . He also refers to others of his persuasion at the university. This same person offers proof of what is being said in his twitter feed and is proud of his identification. His name is Edward Versaii; at least that is what he calls himself. His twitter handle is Elijah'. See minute 4:45

At 5:25 he says that he and his gay friends are leading worship and have been for 8 days.

Ignore it if that is your preference but for those who wish to acknowledge what is true, there certainly is ample proof of what is going on with regards to the 'worship'. The Bible is explicit with regards to homosexuals. Unrepentant homosexuals are not welcome in heaven and whatever spirit they are channeling is not the Holy Spirit.

Now I understand how difficult it can be to grasp this; God knows I have been through it myself and it was painful to see what was really going on. There are genuine occurrences in this gathering, but when you have unclean spirits parading on the platform, you will have a history of unexplained negative impacts on some people that will follow.

You may note I have not put down the entire event, because I know there will be the genuine but it is the false that I am trying to show here. Everyone can make their own choice but you might stop trying to say there is no proof of the negative side of this so called 'revival'.

You may say people do not have knowledge of the school, but anything you wish to know can be found online. Social media has referenced this as a great outpouring; a worldwide phenomena . But, would you be somewhat concerned to know that such 'outpourings' have occurred over and over and over for over 50 years now with each one consisting of worship and singing, arms upraised and so on, but actual repentance only on the part of a few? Search scripture and you will find that this is not an actual revival.

I understand that research is work, but God commends those who do that work and do not believe everything they see and hear because not all is of God and lying spirits are in every church, every meeting and only too eager to find ears that will not questions but simply believe feelings because it feels good.

Unless you have actual questions about what I posted, rather than stating there is no proof as if that comment in itself is somehow the gold standard in truth, (even though proof is offered in more than one place)I am not going to continue posting with you further. I don't seek to argue and it seems that arguing is a ongoing issue in this forum of which I do not care to partake. I am not accusing you of arguing, but it is what seems to be an accepted form of dialogue here.

Thanks

I believe I have answered those questions in my post above but also note it is actually YOUR job to prove what is going on. Some here already know. Nonetheless, I did point out the 'proof' you seem to have missed.

The gospel does not substantiate our feelings, although feelings may follow. The Bible allows for facts whether or not we like them and regardless of what feelings a person may have. It is ours to accept by faith the facts, IN THE BIBLE, and not accept as fact a feeling someone might have had.

Again, no point in going over and over this; but I will answer questions if you have any. Not, however, in regards to the proof I already went into in some detail.

Lest someone say I believe all homosexuals are going to miss out on heaven, it is actually only the unrepentant ones that God condemns.

Probably why God Commands This, eh?:

, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,"

I looked at his twitter feed and he sure is defiant. He is really working hard to insinuate LGBTQ+ into the churches. One thing I noticed is that he hardly ever quotes scripture to back up his "ministry". Or to even use scripture to build up and encourage anyone to holy living. All his tweets are about himself - NOT the Lord, of how a bit of a victim he is because people are telling he will go to hell. (People are actually telling him that in his best interest - but no, he thinks they're being hateful or poor little 'ol him.) So honestly, I think this is a godless person trying to contaminate a good thing.

There are times when he tweets that he "broke down" - emotionally? physically? Not sure, but he does have these bouts whatever they are every so often.

The picture he tweeted of the Asbury church - if it really is his picture, is a vantage point of someone just sitting on the side in the back on the upper balcony. It's not like he's up on the stage with the Asbury leadership as if they even knew him. I think he's not affiliated with Asbury at all and just taking advantage of being inside there.

So just because he posts like he's such a big part of this Asbury movement doesn't mean he really is. I haven't seen any pictures or video of him with any of the people who are running the Asbury event. At all.

If he doesn't stop doing this and doesn't repent, sooner or later, something awful will probably happen to him, just like with all the other perverts trying to make that acceptable to God's people.

I actually knew a YouTuber who said he used to be Christian. He stopped being one though. He was gay, but I'm not sure when he realized he was, whether before or after. Anyway, he didn't just fall away, he would mock Christians because he went to Bible college and would ask all these difficult theological questions to young missionary/ministers that aren't even necessary to serve the Lord and laugh at them for not knowing the non-salvation answers. Anyway, what a lot of people didn't realize was that he was suicidal. So one day, one of my other YouTube pals messaged me and told me this guy successfully committed suicide (he had tried before many other times but none of us even knew until too late).

So this current guy we're seeing is always smiling defiantly in the pictures he tweets, but they are SO fake! If he doesn't repent, he is opening himself up to demons that would take advantage of his defiance and eventually bring him down.
