Yep....this verse may read in English as past tense....but it's a tense in Early Latin/Greek that covers past, present, and future tense all at the same time. A tense that doesn't exist and has not existed in English.

Congratulations! You have quoted two Biblical verses out of context.

Jesus told a man whom He had healed not to sin any more. So? What does that have to do with past sins being forgiven? Of course, this happened before Jesus was sacrificed, paying the price for all people's sins.

Romans 6:23 is a great verse, but I don't understand what you are trying to state by quoting it. As I said earlier, Jesus paid the sacrifice for everyone's sins by His sacrifice and resurrection. Christianity 101.

If you're conflating the two verses to mean that if you sin as a Christian that you have lost your salvation, you are wrong!

God does not accept human sacrifice?

Earlier in that chapter, God had instructed Abraham to sacrifice his son. As shown below.

Genesis 22:1-2
Now it came about after these things, that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I will tell you.”

It looks as though God does accept human sacrifice.

God tested Abraham you say, but why would God specifically ask Abraham to sacrifice his only son. What a strange thing for God to do.
That passage does not make sense, if you interpret that chapter (Genesis 22) the way you do.

Many more passages say the same.

But God did ask Abraham to sacrifice his son.

God is love.

So explain why God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son. Assuming that the sacrifice of a human is a grievous sin.

Are you saying that God never forgave David's two horrendous sins? He is described as a man after God's own heart; he wrote most of the psalms. The Old Testament saints, for example those mentioned in the Book of Hebrews as people of true faith, were forgiven through the future death of Jesus pictured in the bloody sacrifices (Isaiah 53).

Sins can only be forgiven with repentance - this presumption that Jesus 'Lamb' died for the sins is contrary to Jesus teachings and only appears in Johns Gospel - long time after and arguably corrupted.

If you're saying that John's gospel is corrupted, what basis do you have to say that statement? It is part of God's Word until you prove to me that it is not. Go ahead and prove your comment, but I won't argue with you.
