Some seem to imagine that Russia is justified in waging war against Ukraine. I would like to know what nation is squeaky clean enough to point the finger at supposedly evil Ukraine. When I look at a country, my first thought is, would I like to live there? Would I prefer America to China? I've not visited China, but I know enough to say that I would rather live in America. It's far from perfect, but you can vote out the administration if you don't like it. Or can be bothered voting.

Would I prefer Russia to Ukraine? No. As has been said, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Putin has entrenched himself in power and who can dislodge him?

America has its own problems. If God is using Russia to punish Ukraine, then watch out Americans. You are no better than Ukraine. China is your nemesis. And Australia will be caught up in the conflict as well.

I have not seen anyone on any thread that is against Dude or Gideon enlisting and going to Ukraine to fight for freedom and truth.

You are starting off on the wrong foot bro. The war is mainly between US/NATO/Britian and Russia. The AZOV Gestapo zealots in high office burrowed into the rump state government are the pit bulls who snapped up to the dog whistle of the NATO promise of killing Russkies and are the ones keeping the installed puppet Zelensky towing the line. Or else. And the spooks (MI6/CIA et al) are keeping Zel highly motivated with unlimited cocaine and truly massive $$$bribes/kickbacks$$$.

You gotta wake up bro. This is how the game is played. ALWAYS. Infiltrate/coup/puppet/pillage/war, $$$$$$$$ strip mined from dopey taxpayers getting funneled into the right pockets.

Here is some honesty from a couple of first-hand witness...

^ in the past, here in america, we could vote leaders out.

now, with voter fraud, it is not that simple anymore.

I would still prefer to live in the USA and not Russia. Those who oppose Putin have a strange habit of dying prematurely or ending up in prison. At least you can say that you don't agree with Biden or Trump and not be killed for it.

It's not about your preference, though; it's more about the people in western Ukraine, and the people in the Donbas/Crimea. This started off as a Ukrainian constitutional crisis and civil-war, no matter how much our mainstream media wants to emphasize the 2022 Russian invasion.

The revolutions in Crimea and the Donbas were just as legitimate -if not more legitimate- than the so-called "revolution of dignity"; Ukraine just needs to let them go, and stop wasting our money and their own lives.

It's all oppositional politics....

Republicans are "paying back" the Democrats for the troop withdrawal in Afghanistan.

That's all....nothing more.

Morality and ethics have nothing to do with this. Ronald Reagan would be rolling over in his grave over this. The politicians don't care about Morality....just winning or losing. Ethics and Morality take a distant 5th place in importance.

It's the equivalent of shouting that Barrabas (a politician) needs to be set free instead of the innocent Jesus.

How many people have been assassinated or locked up for anti Trump or anti Biden rhetoric? It's against the law in Russia to criticise Putin or the war. America still has freedom of speech to some extent. There is none in Russia.

I believe Americans have lost sight of just how good they have it compared to most of the world. It pays to treasure what you have. God has a habit of taking away blessings from those who complain. It is God who made America what she is, not the wisdom and power of men. And God will remove that blessing as people reject Him. It's already happening to a degree. Hopefully events like Asbury will turn the church around.

I saw a great difference between the America I visited in 1994 and again in 2016. None of it was for good. I like America and Americans generally. I hate to see the decline.

I will agree with you that it is a whole lot different-and-worse in Russia; however, "stuff" does happen here sometimes. (It's not like it never happens.)

How many people were locked up "for just being there" on 2021-01-06?

I also agree that we should always-appreciate-and-never forget what God has given us.
