I don't disagree, for parents that are able to do that. My sister did that were her kids for a time and then her husband decided they could no longer afford it. My husband and I had the boys for a week that summer when she told us they were taking them out of Christian school. I was very upset and felt in my spirit it was the wrong move. But I didn't have the extra money to help them. I still feel it was the wrong move but there is nothing I can do about it. But as I said, if I had kids they would not attend public school.
I did this and the cost should be free. I pulled books from the library, used the computer for the children to learn Math and geography, they took Karate at church, they were in the church choir. If you coordinate with 4 other families and your local church the cost should be minimal and parents would only need to supervise one day a week. If you have a husband and wife that is only twice a month for either one of them.

I did not teach lessons. They read books and the authors were their teachers. The only exception was the geography program and math program on the computer. Moses was not a good speaker and yet God sent him to speak to Pharaoh but God also provided Aaron. Most churches with 200 or more members will have a retired teacher in the ranks. You will have a few retired people who may be interested in coming out once a week to help.

Yeah but I bet if Muslim students wanted their prayer time everyone would be streaming... SHARIA LAW IN SCHOOL....THE SKY IS FALLING!...
That's why you just have a moment of silence in the morning and let everyone pray silently at their desk if they want to
No, you obviously have not been in a public school recently, they do not do that.

Also, this is a school. Perhaps in HS silent time is best, but in elementary school and JHS I think it would be best to have children choose which room they want to go to. This way the Christians can pray corporately, the Jews can pray corporately, the Muslims can pray corporately, and the Atheists can have silent time. Also teachers can choose as well. So a Christian teacher can pray with the Christian children, a Muslim teacher can pray with the Muslim children, a Jewish teacher can pray with the Jewish children, and someone else can supervise the atheists.

I think Muslims will side with Christians on these views. As will many other religions. Mexicans were running this year on God, family, country and winning. This isn't just a Christian thing, which is what the Dems are trying to make it. Trying to get people to turn against us. It may blow up in their faces, I hope so.
Yeah but I'm pretty sure Christian nationalist would throw a collective poopy fit if Muslim students wanted their prayer time in school
"Oh no, they're indoctrinating our kids with Sharia law"

True Christians put their faith and trust in God. They may be engaged politically, stay up on the issues and vote; but their main focus is humility toward God and obedience to Him.

On the other hand, Christian nationalists (CN) put their faith in themselves and the political process over and above trust in God. CNs wear the name "Christian" but their primary agenda is political. On the extreme end they are violent and want to harm their opponents; whatever it takes to turn the US into the country they imagine it should be—essentially a benign "Christain" dictatorship. The moderate CNs have a lot of the same goals as their radical counterparts, but believe in using the political process.

In either case, the agenda isn't God's kingdom but man's kingdom calling itself God's kingdom.

Sounds straight from the desk of CNN. I don't think you understand this term is being used as propaganda by the left. I haven't seen any extreme other than the "summer of love" the most expensive in the history of the country.

I have never met any Christians who would have an issue with that, so even if there is someone who would be like that they are few and far between.

I guarantee you there will be more against having a moment to pray/ meditate then Christians against a Muslim praying.

Generally white supremacists are Christian nationalists (spurred by the fact they are also-antisemitic, anti-this anti that, etc.), but the other way around is not always true.
The Communist/Fascist/Anarchist/Racist Democrats have discovered that smearing conservative Americans with the INFLAMMATORY terms "white supremacist" and "racist" helps them to keep blacks under their thumb, and allows them to use identity politics to divide and conquer.

They called Donald Trump a white supremacist and a racist to deliberately inflame hatred against him, since he is neither of those. That was "hate speech" but the Left was perfectly happy with that. They called black Justice Clarence Thomas an "Uncle Tom" because he upholds the Constitution. That too was "hate speech" but no one objected.

The fact of the matter is that White Supremacist groups are very small in number, unlike BLM and Antifa thugs. But no one declared those two groups as domestic terrorists. Now they will be calling Christian Nationalists "terrorists" just like they labeled conservative parents "terrorists" and patriots from January 6 as "insurrectionists". These terms are being thrown around casually, but not a single news source has been consistently calling the Democrats "Communist/Fascist/Anarchist/Racists".

Now former Democrat Tulsi Gabbard has come right out and said that the current core beliefs of the Democrats are the same as those of Hitler and the Nazis. But the RINOs are giving their full support and cooperation to the real domestic enemies of America. So who is worse, an enemy that plainly declares himself an enemy, or a traitor who supports the enemy but does not plainly declare who he is?

Christian nationalism is fascism under a different name
Untrue.

How does it feel to be on Christian Chat branding Christians as dangerous.

Do you feel empowered? Does it make you feel powerful deriding Christians.

Liberalism always looks for enemies and works on silencing them. Study history, learn something accurate.

You Mr. Dude are in league with a group of people hell bent on the destruction of society and they are using Christians as the scapegoat.

I hope you feel really good about it.

That is the point. Satan will call "good works" that "glorify the Lord" "Political Activism" which becomes "Christian Nationalism" which is "fascism".

If you listen to him then you are evil if you are concerned with how your children are raised and taught, you are evil if you are concerned with crime on the streets, you are evil if you stand against the wanton murder of babies, or even if you want to make peace rather than to start WWIII.
Wow bro, ayyyyymen.

He does. He feels he's right. He's drunk the Kool-aid and thinks the poison is good. He is part of the problem, being part of the Matrix the rest of us need to be opposing.

But then they call everything "Christian nationalism". Protests against abortion = Christian nationalism (aka Fascism), Parents going to school board meetings to complain about pornography (Christian nationalism which "wink, wink" is fascism and that is why they label those parents as domestic terrorists). People questioning the legitimacy of various practices during the last election and calling for audits (Christian nationalism, ie fascism, which is really white supremacy. But what about people like Larry Elder, well he is the "black face of white supremacy").

If you buy into this premise then Christians do not have any constitutional rights as citizens. They can't protest which is one of the rights in the Bill of Rights, they can't have a say in how their children are educated, etc.
This... *sniff* .. brought a tear to my eye. Oh, must be my allergies acting up again!

Sharia Law indoctrination can be argued for when public school kids are told to take a Muslim name, and basically practice to be a Muslim. Imagine the stroke the ACLU would have if a public school authorized their students to practice what it means to be a Christian.

I know this is off-topic, but it just came to me when reading this post.

There is an historical fact many believers are not aware of: The founders wanted the Bible taught in public schools. Thomas Jefferson got Bibles to the Indian tribes. When they had public prayers, it was to the God of the Bible, not a generic blend of the world's religions, and it certainly was not a Wiccan prayer. They wanted the US founded on Christian principles and a generally Biblical world view.

Why?

Because they saw this as the best generator -- and preserver -- of liberty. People fearing hell-fire judgment are more likely to police themselves, negating the need for a police state.

They didn't like what they saw in other religions around the world. They believed Christianity was a vital foundation for the country. Sorry atheists out there, that is an historical fact, and if you need it, I can prove it -- with their own words.

Now, does this mean that someone who decided to practice Judaism or Islam or Daoism would not be permitted to do so? No it does not. The founders believed in freedom. But, they did want the majority of the country Christian-influenced. That, though, only comes through teaching and convincing the public of the soundness of that, since we are about free will here. And, that is obviously where we have failed.
