I did the whole 'I will tell your parents' threat and 'you will be in BIG trouble'

also I said dont practice your athletics day in the library its not a racecourse.

My new problem is how to stop them from sliding or hanging off the banister. This new library has stairs.

over wax or greese. lol

put up a sign, the banister may not hold your weight and we do not want you to get hurt because we care.

only works if the little people can read...if they cant, they ignore any written signs.

I know one school installed one for the teachers. I also have a lift in my library but it can only take 8 people at one time. Its an airless stainless steel box. The school is 3 storeys high. Why they cant make it a glass elevator like the one Charlie had in the chocolate factory I dont know.

I try to dissuade the children from climbing through the windows. In one library book story about a book fair they did just that to get the book they wanted.

The principal seems to be against beanbags for some strange reason.

Im like the more beanbags the better.

Maybe he came from the school of hard knocks.

Im like I need my padded walls. If no padded walls, then curtains or maybe a lego wall.

I saw some schools in Northern Ireland had barbed wire around them.

Im like we use barbed wire and electric fences to keep sheep from straying in nz.

Schools are basically kiddy farms really. The other day we had athletics day so the entire school walked over to the althletics stadium across the road where they have a proper race track. I was hoping there would be more incentives for children to run around than simply coming first and. a medal or certificate. Maybe have something to chase after or a tiger chasing them. round the race track.
