Thou sayest

Matthew 27:11 Now Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.

This is not the same thing as in Matthew 26 what Jesus said to Judas.

Matthew 26:25 And Judas, who betrayed him, answered and said, Is it I, Rabbi? He saith unto him, Thou hast said.

This refers to a few verses earlier:

14 Then one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, 15 and said, What are ye willing to give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they weighed unto him thirty pieces of silver.

Jesus was referring to what Judas had said just a little while earlier. Jesus is omniscient and omnipresent.

So then what does Jesus mean when he tells Pilate "thou sayest", present tense.

Let us consider for a moment Jesus. He was born into a poor family, that is very obvious. Poor carpenter in Nazareth, a relatively despised region. In this region he was an immigrant having come from Egypt, so even on the wrong side of the tracks He was at the bottom of the social ladder. He begins his ministry with what? Did he have money? Did he have a synagogue to preach in? No he was itinerant preacher and most of his sermons were held outdoors, either from a boat or on a mountain top.

He was mocked, He was ridiculed, He was insulted. Now during that time no one in the Roman government or among the Jewish leaders was calling Him the king of the Jews. Just a few months earlier He asked His disciples what men were calling Him and they said "one of the prophets". It was at this time that Peter got the revelation that He was the Messiah, the anointed one, from which we can infer "the king of the Jews". But Jesus told them to keep that secret. This needs to be something that God reveals to you, not something that you put on your title for click bait.

But after that He raises Lazarus from the dead and now the Jewish leaders admit the whole world is following Him. He enters Jerusalem triumphantly to shouts of Hosanna, blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord. All of the Roman guard and leadership had to have seen this.

So here we are, in front of the governor and no one is mocking or scoffing anymore. That is the point of Jesus saying "thou sayest".

Let me share my own experience. I started this blog for myself. I wanted to dive into the word, discover as much as I could, build up my faith, and understand what was happening in the world. I never advertised. I didn't use gimmicks like "click bait". I didn't have fancy graphics or videos and didn't use popular platforms like Youtube. I didn't have time for any of that. What I wanted was to get into the word of God and I made this public because I felt there might be others out there who would be interested. I started March 4, 2021 but that isn't actually when I started. I had started a year earlier on another forum but I was forced to leave that forum. So there has been mocking, scoffing, and also those who have taken offense at this word and wanted to cancel it. But where are all those ones now?

I was accused of being crazy and my brother wanted me to get counseling. I had discussed an imminent nuclear war between the US and Russia. However, no one is scoffing or mocking or calling me crazy anymore. From the least to the greatest there are people on this earth wondering if we are about to see the Second Coming of the Messiah.

I thought hey, if ten others profit from this blog then it will be well worth it. Today we are over 167,000 people from around the world and that number increases by about 500 a day now. So then, in some small part I have experienced this verse.

Pre trib vs Pre Wrath of God

There are two variations of pre trib teaching. Pre trib does not mean pre crucifixion. We all must take up our cross and follow the Lord and we all must be crucified with Christ. Paul said the scars from the crucifixion were like our circumcision, the evidence that we have a covenant with God. Paul said he already bore the marks, he had been stoned, imprisoned, and gave up everything he had to follow the Lord. So if that is true for you then you can say along with Paul "henceforth let no man trouble me because I already bear about in my body the marks of Jesus"

IT TOOK A GENTILE

Matthew Chapter 27 (the entire chapter) 27:54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, "Truly this was the Son of God." Brothers and sisters, as a result of the vision the Lord gave me tonight, I will never, ever, ever be the same. It literally shook me to my core! What God allowed me to experience and to witness is so far beyond anything I could ever even attempt to begin to describe to you here. There are no words to adequately convey what I saw, and I can only hope and try to relay it to you here as best I can. Oh, the price our dear blessed Savior paid! This old song says it best - Oh, the blood of Jesus! Oh, the blood of Jesus! Oh, the blood of Jesus! It washes white as snow! After my time in prayer this evening, the Lord directed me to read Matthew Chapter 27. After reading it and meditating upon the scriptures, the Lord began to speak to me, saying, “It took a Gentile.” He paused and then spoke these words to me a few more times, and then He told me to write. I began writing the words that he Lord was speaking to me, but when I wrote the words He said “While I was hanging on the cross,” I was suddenly and instantly in the spirit and found myself standing at the foot of the cross! In that first instant, I was both shocked and confused as to where I was and what I was experiencing and witnessing taking place right before my eyes. I found myself suddenly standing 5 to 6 feet in front of and directly facing a cross with what appeared to be a man hanging there on it. In that moment, I could not tell who this man before me was as He was completely and totally unrecognizable. The complete shock of what I was seeing hit me as I stood there and began to look upon this man - this severely beaten, whipped, shredded and torn flesh, bloody, bloody man, and the realization that it was Jesus I was seeing! As I began to look, I was horrified to see that every inch of His skin was covered in and dripping with blood, from head to toe. Although difficult to hear, but to say that He looked like raw meat hanging there is the closest I can describe it. There was no spot of intact skin visible, it was all blood, blood, and more blood! I was directed to look at His legs down to His feet and saw that the feet were placed one on top of the other with one huge nail or spike driven through them both together. Again, His legs and feet were completely covered in blood, and dripping. I noticed that the feet appeared to be up about 3 - 4 feet in distance above the ground. My eyes were then drawn upward, and I began to see His torso, which again was completely covered with blood, so much so, that it was almost too much to be able to look at. I looked at His outstretched arms with a huge spike in each wrist, right at the place where the palm and wrist meet. Again, the arms and hands were completely covered in and dripping with blood. Lastly, I looked up at His head and face. It was so badly beaten and covered with blood that I could barely make out any facial features at all. There was so much swelling, that both eyes were almost swollen shut. There looked to be only bits and patches of His beard left on His face, drenched and dripping with blood. His hair was a bloody, dripping mass with a crown of thorns pressed into his head. There was so much blood and disfigurement that He was truly, truly unrecognizable. I was able to see how the blood dripped and ran down the cross and into and onto the ground below. Transcript: My son, I have had you read and study Matthew 27 to show everyone that “it took a Gentile” to reveal who I was! While I was hanging on the cross, bruised and battered beyond recognition, what were the religious people doing? They were cursing at Me and wagging their heads in disgust! “How could this man tear down and rebuild our precious, lovely, holy temple? If you be the Son of God, come down from the cross!!” they cried. They did not know I was there for them! While the chief priests and scribes started in mocking and jeering, all the time the pain was so intense, I kept focused on My Father. They said, “If He is the King of Israel, let Him come down from the cross! Then we will believe you!!” Again, I know why I AM there and what must happen. They continued mocking Me and My Father, saying, “You trusted in Him - let Him save you! After all, you said you were His Son!!” [After the Lord had allowed me to see what He looked like and to take it all in, He then allowed me hear all of the people who were yelling and shouting at him. I could not understand the language they were speaking, but I could tell that they were cursing and mocking and so full of anger and hatred towards Him. The people were all behind me, and I did not turn to see them, but I heard and knew that all the shouting was coming from them behind me. I then began to see rocks and sticks being thrown from behind me flying right past me and they were hitting Him! They kept coming, whizzing by me and hitting Him. It was so horrible to witness this as they hit Him over and over and over again with these rocks. I saw the guards in front of me walking around and pacing back and forth, keeping the people back and from getting too close. I heard dogs running around and barking. I could hear people crying and sobbing. I could hear and tell that there were many people behind me in the crowd.] My son, the pain was so intense, I could hardly catch My breath! Then the darkness came! All of a sudden, I was alone!!! My Father had turned His back on Me!!! In sheer pain and agony, I cried out, “My God! My God! Why have You forsaken Me??!!!” [I watched Him in unimaginable total and complete pain and agony while He struggled to breathe! He let me observe how He had to use His legs and feet to push Himself up in order to rise up enough just to get a little breath. At one point, He allowed me to carefully watch Him do this, (it seemed almost like in slow motion and detailed) and I was able to clearly hear Him gasping for breath, like a wheezing sound, like it was so hard for Him, so much effort to barely get any air into His lungs. When the darkness came, it happened very quickly, almost instantaneously. I heard people screaming and crying out and begin running away in fear. One minute there was shouting and mocking, and the next it all became quiet, and all I heard was weeping and sobbing. He allowed me at one point to specifically be able hear John and His mother Mary. Both were weeping, and John was quietly speaking to her, trying to console her. I was also weeping with them.] For those three hours [Jesus hung on the cross for 6 hours from the 3rd hour to the 9th hour, but the 3 hours He is speaking of here are from the 6th to the 9th hour (Matt. 27:45) when the darkness came], I hung there in the most severe pain imaginable! Most people have left now - only a few guards and My beloved John and My mother (and some other women afar off) remained. The blood was now flowing in My eyes, burning them, as I could do nothing to wipe them. My blood was now drained, and I cried out, “IT IS FINISHED!!!” [I witnessed the moment when He cried out, “IT IS FINISHED!!!” He had pushed Himself up as far as He possibly could with His legs and feet in order to take in as large a breath as He could so He would be able to cry it out as he exhaled his last breath. His head fell forward and hung down with that, and IMMEDIATELY the earth shook violently! I saw everything shaking and falling over and heard everything rumbling and cracking and falling. I heard people screaming and falling down. The shaking knocked everyone off their feet, and they could not get up. I saw the four or five guards around the cross all fall down, and the cross was shaking back and forth in the ground. To me, observing this, it was hard to tell how long, but the shaking seemed to last about 2 minutes. When it was over and the guards were able to get up off the ground, I saw and heard the centurion exclaim, “Truly, this was the Son of God!” The vision then ended, and I was back in my room writing in my book.] My son, “It took a Gentile” to state the truth - saying, “Truly, this was the Son of God!” (Matt. 27:54) My people saw Me die that day, and to this day, very few (of them) believe I AM the Son of God! In fact, under these evil Noahide laws, if you confess that, you will break the first law, and by the Sanhedrin and Talmud, you will be beheaded! My Father and I had a plan. Since the Jews are blind, we will go to the ones who recognized I was the Son of God - the Gentiles! Blessed are those whose eyes are open and whose hearts are filled with My Spirit!! I ROSE FROM THE DEAD, AND WITH ME ARE THE KEYS TO DEATH AND HELL!!! (Rev. 1:18) I AM COMING SOON!! You are the generation that will meet Me in the clouds!! I AM COMING VERY SOON - I PROMISE!!! During the Tribulation you will be paying the last mite

Luke 12:57 And why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right? 58 For as thou art going with thine adversary before the magistrate, on the way give diligence to be quit of him; lest haply he drag thee unto the judge, and the judge shall deliver thee to the officer, and the officer shall cast thee into prison. 59 I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou have paid the very last mite.

Wow! This verse is not in the gospel of Mark! The saints who go through the tribulation they are paying the last mite. They were not diligent to judge what is right.

Luke 6:29 To him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and from him that taketh away thy cloak withhold not thy coat also. 30 Give to every one that asketh thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

Here is another verse that is not in Mark. Again, the concept is the same, prior to the tribulation you get to embrace this voluntarily, if not you will be forced to embrace it during the tribulation. We know that the point of the Mark of the Beast is to take away all your goods from you and to smite you if you refuse to worship the beast. You had the chance to do this voluntarily but there are many Christians that have compromised with the world. They think they are far wiser than the Jesus freaks who just make all Christians look bad.

Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Here is another verse that is in both Matthew and Luke but not in Mark. In Luke the believers have the choice, in Mark they don't. Why did many believers not get raptured prior to the tribulation, because they tried to serve two masters.

Key years in Biblical Prophecy

1. 1917 -- End of WWI, End of Ottoman Empire, Balfour Declaration

2. 2001 -- the year of 9/11, caused greatest stock market crash, exactly 12 Shemita cycles from 1917

3. 2008 -- one shemita cycle later, epic financial collapse unlike anything we had seen up till then.

4. 2022 --> go backwards in time and you would determine that Jesus died in the year 27 AD, 69 Shemitah cycles from that is 456 BC.

5. 2029 -- Would this be the year that ushers in the millenial reign exactly 12 shemita cycles from 1945?

2029 is 286 Shemita cycles from Jesus crucifixion.

Blind guides are leading you to the pit called the tribulation

Luke 6:37 And judge not, and ye shall not be judged: and condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: release, and ye shall be released: 38 give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, shall they give into your bosom. For with what measure ye mete it shall be measured to you again. 39 And he spake also a parable unto them, Can the blind guide the blind? shall they not both fall into a pit? 40 The disciple is not above his teacher: but every one when he is perfected shall be as his teacher. 41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 42 Or how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me cast out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye.

Wow, I love the comparison with Mark. In Mark there is no warning about the blind guiding the blind and both falling into the pit. Nor is there the warning about beholding the mote in your brother's eye. In other words, if you are in the tribulation you have already fallen into the pit, you were led by the blind guide, there is no point in warning about that any more.

The weapons of our warfare

1Timothy 1:18 This charge I commit unto thee, my child Timothy, according to the prophecies which led the way to thee, that by them thou mayest war the good warfare;

2Corinthians 10:4 (for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds);

There have been several dream, visions and prophecies about preparing for war. This is not referring to being a prepper, though it is basic common sense and prudence to be prepared for certain events.

We prepare for war by putting on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

If your first reaction to hearing a prophecy about preparing for war is to join a militia and move to the mountains then it is proof that you are not rooted and grounded in the Lord's army.

Dana Coverstone's dreams repeatedly told us to "brace yourself". To brace yourself is to hear the words of the Lord and to do them.

24 Every one therefore that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them, shall be likened unto a wise man, who built his house upon the rock: 25 and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon the rock.

The contrast are those who hear these words and ignore them.

26 And every one that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand: 27 and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and smote upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall thereof.

Mark 13:9 But take ye heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in synagogues shall ye be beaten; and before governors and kings shall ye stand for my sake, for a testimony unto them. 10 And the gospel must first be preached unto all the nations. 11 And when they lead you to judgment, and deliver you up, be not anxious beforehand what ye shall speak: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye; for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Spirit. 12 And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and the father his child; and children shall rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death. 13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.

This account is only in Mark. It sounds very much like what will happen during the tribulation.

Obviously this is just one very narrow way to look at the gospels. Every verse in every gospel is good for instruction that the man of God would be complete. The way I look at it you can compare the Christian life to being trained to rule and reign with Jesus and then at the end of the year there is a final exam. Everyone for two thousand years has had to learn these lessons. Those that did, pass the exam and they will be in that first rapture regardless of whether they are dead or alive. Those that haven't get to go to summer school which is the tribulation. Like summer school it is hot, sweaty, unpleasant, and you must learn all these lessons in a very short time.

Of course this leaves a few questions like what happens to those who died but didn't learn these lessons? I don't know. Thankfully God knows, this is His plan and He will work all things out in the end.

How to prepare and brace yourself for the ultimate fulfillment

1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel:

2 To know wisdom and instruction; To discern the words of understanding;
3 To receive instruction in wise dealing, In righteousness and justice and equity;
4 To give prudence to the simple, To the young man knowledge and discretion:
5 That the wise man may hear, and increase in learning; And that the man of understanding may attain unto sound counsels:
6 To understand a proverb, and a figure, The words of the wise, and their dark sayings.

This is why there are so few that find the narrow way that leads to life. First you have to find the path, second you have to learn how to read the trail so you can follow the path, third you have to know how to deal with all the possible things that can happen on the path. What if you twist your ankle, or burn yourself, or have some other serious injury? Then you need to learn how to recognize danger before hand so as to avoid serious pitfalls. But then it gets harder because some of the path requires sound counsel and finally how to figure out the dark sayings of the wise. When things are very hard the wise cannot speak in plain words, hence they must use dark sayings.

7 The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge; But the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.

This is what we are seeing today. Many people refuse receiving wisdom and instruction. Some will say they only let certain sources of news. If you do that you give those sources the full power to manipulate you and lie to you. That is foolish. Others are despising the prophets and the watchmen. No doubt we have seen this problem for the entire church age, but it is the most severe we have ever seen it in the US right now. The problem is not with some blogger, or some watchman, the problem is that these ones are foolish and do not fear the Lord. I have heard many different people share things that have been mind blowing to me. But I fear the Lord, I know that I am not the arbiter of truth and just because I didn't know something doesn't mean it can't be true. So I keep an open mind.

8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, And forsake not the law of thy mother:
9 For they shall be a chaplet of grace unto thy head, And chains about thy neck.

When confused, go back to the the things you know are truth. For me, that is the Bible.

10 My son, if sinners entice thee, Consent thou not.

Not wanting something to be true doesn't have anything to do with whether or not it is true. No one wants a nuclear war with Russia. But ignoring and pretending that the warning signs are here does not somehow make it less likely. It is a huge mistake to think that warning about the threat makes the threat more likely. Right now the sinners are enticing you to ignore what is happening, play some computer game, waste time with some movie, spend your time on useless social media. Do not consent to censoring what is going on.

11 If they say, Come with us, Let us lay wait for blood; Let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause; 12 Let us swallow them up alive as Sheol, And whole, as those that go down into the pit; 13 We shall find all precious substance;
We shall fill our houses with spoil; 14 Thou shalt cast thy lot among us;
We will all have one purse:

This is what the pandemic and vaccine are all about. You are now more valuable dead than alive. Your value used to be the fact that you were working, contributing to the GDP and paying taxes. But they can now replace you with drones, AI, and robots. They don't need you to help with the GDP and they certainly don't want to support you. However, if you die then they get the lion's share of your estate. If enough die they get the whole estate. There is nothing new to this idea, it was at the time of Solomon, it has been the cornerstone of every tyrants rise to power, if you had paid attention to history you would have known this. The mafia does this, the cartels do this, Hitler did this, Mao, Stalin, and the list goes on and on.

15 My son, walk not thou in the way with them; Refrain thy foot from their path:
16 For their feet run to evil, And they make haste to shed blood.
17 For in vain is the net spread In the sight of any bird:
18 And these lay wait for their own blood; They lurk privily for their own lives.
19 So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; It taketh away the life of the owners thereof.

Why is it so hard to realize that the pandemic and vaccine were all about those who are greedy of gain? Small businesses were crushed, but the biggest and greediest corporations saw incredible profits at this time. But again, if you had studied history, and if you feared God you would know that this is the broad way that leads to destruction. You will end up like Hitler's henchmen.

20 Wisdom crieth aloud in the street; She uttereth her voice in the broad places;
21 She crieth in the chief place of concourse; At the entrance of the gates,
In the city, she uttereth her words:
22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And scoffers delight them in scoffing, And fools hate knowledge?
23 Turn you at my reproof: Behold, I will pour out my spirit upon you;
I will make known my words unto you.

I used to walk into libraries and feel like somewhere in this building are all the secrets and treasures of wisdom. I would stand in the lobby of the Lobby at Rice University and it was as though some loud geiger counter was going off telling me I was very near the wisdom. Only now do I realize the wisdom was in the Bible! It was there crying aloud in the street, in the chief places, at the entrance they had a big Bible.

24 Because I have called, and ye have refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man hath regarded;
25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, And would none of my reproof:
26 I also will laugh in the day of your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
27 When your fear cometh as a storm, And your calamity cometh on as a whirlwind;
When distress and anguish come upon you.

This is the tribulation. We have been warning for two thousand years. Prior to this event there have been many, many warnings. I saw a building that was standing after the quake in Turkey, it was in great condition while all around was nothing but rubble from collapsed buildings. This particular building was used by an organization that had been warning for years and years about the danger of earthquakes and what you needed to do when you build that your building doesn't collapse. So although this verse is applicable to anyone who has had a calamity befall them, the ultimate fulfillment will be during the tribulation.

28 Then will they call upon me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they shall not find me:
29 For that they hated knowledge, And did not choose the fear of Jehovah,

This is the real problem. Choose the fear of the Lord. You aren't being logical, you aren't being scientific, you are simply refusing to fear the Lord.

30 They would none of my counsel, They despised all my reproof.
31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, And be filled with their own devices.
32 For the backsliding of the simple shall slay them, And the careless ease of fools shall destroy them.
33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell securely, And shall be quiet without fear of evil.

The careless ease of fools. Wow, what a great expression, so true. There are so many people who are not interested in hearing the warnings. Their head is buried in their phone, listening to music, playing games, talking to friends, watching TV and movies.

But for those who argue there is no "pre trib" rapture then how do you explain this promise of dwelling securely? I see different ones trying to sell solar panels, EMP shields and other things so that you can dwell securely. Really? Imagine for a second that 10% of the country does this. Do you really think the power will continue to work because you put an EMP shield on your own house? What about 90% of the workers at the power plant? Are they still going to work when 90% of their customers are down and the entire grid is down? How about the deliveries of coal, oil and gas, whill they still keep coming when the cities are descending into chaos and looting? How many gas stations will still be operating? Even if a gas station is shielded from an EMP how are they going to get the trucks to deliver the fuel when the trucks got fried by the EMP? If 90% of the trucks and 90% of the gas stations are all fried how can anyone continue to drive cars? But suppose you protected your car and your plan is simply to take gas out of other cars that are no longer running. What happens when your car needs a part?

There is only one way, there is salvation in Jesus alone.
