You know what that all sounds like to me? Gnosticism. The assertion that physical reality is at best irrelevant and at worst evil. Only the spirit is worth preserving.
I really have never met anyone with the understanding that you have.
I have to plead ignorance as I do not know what Gnosticism is as I do not study man or his materials.
But based upon what you have described Gnosticism to be then I would say that they are closer to the truth than anyone else in this world.
Knowledge is useless if it does not result in or produce the love or charity that Paul talks about in 1st Corinthians 13 or John spoke about in the 1st Epistle of John.
We know that even the evil spirits had great knowledge when they recognized Jesus as the Son of God and asked whether he had come to destroy them. (in the gospels)
Also God said that Daniel's wisdom could not compare with that of prince of Tyrus.
Eze 28:2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet
thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
Eze 28:3
Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:
Eze 28:4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:
Eze 28:5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:
Eze 28:6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;
Eze 28:7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
Eze 28:8
They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.
Your venture into the realm of God's supreme omnipotence is bordering on trying to depose God.
King Nebuchadnezzar ruler of Babylon and the entire world in the 5th century B.C. was brought down from his place of
pride to living like a wild beast in the field for 7 years among other wild beasts.
Really there is not much else to say to those who would try to belittle and put down the One True God of all creation.
I cannot help you only the One True God can help you, if you would only believe in his Son, Jesus Christ. Unfortunately for human beings everything with God is backwards. Faith only comes after you believe.
With God the more you know is the less you know. But with the child of God it is God who holds him up and not he, himself. In other words, what is impossible with man is possible with God.
