@posthuman does it concern you that you are unable to effectively prove with the Bible what you believe?
Look around you.
You are refusing to accept a cloud of witnesses - but what is true and what is not does not at all depend on your unbelief.

I missed these verses
John 10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
But you missed the rest of my post
I just put in a request to have my account here deactivated.
I just wanted to say that I hope you come to recognize Christ's divinity somewhere down the line.
I wish you the best.
Farewell.
I'm not sure what you want me to see. I see that Jesus was given authority and a command from his Father to do something. All of the power came from the Father.
I think there's probably at least two dozen or so verses that says God the Father raised Jesus from the dead. I think Jesus had free will and didn't have to obey the commands the Father had given him. I believe that's why he was speaking like that.
There are plenty. It's a great study. Please post them when you get a chance.Scripture?
In Acts 2:24, Peter says that “God raised [Jesus] from the dead.” So that’s the basic answer. God resurrected Jesus. As we read more Scripture, that basic answer becomes more nuanced.I'm not sure what you want me to see. I see that Jesus was given authority and a command from his Father to do something. All of the power came from the Father.
John 14
10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. 12Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

You made the claim, not me.There are plenty. It's a great study. Please post them when you get a chance.
As should you.I hope you learn to recognize who Jesus really is somewhere down the line.
Well....I know those passages because I gathered my own manna and gleaned the fields. You made the claim, not me.
How many works must be completed today to sustain my salvation? Asking for a friend.
That's fantastic news that you FINALLY believe Jesus IS God!!I do believe in Christ's divinity.
I am not 100% convinced that RM's take on Jesus' "divinity" is the same as yours. But hey.....I am not a mind reader either. That's fantastic news that you FINALLY believe Jesus IS God!!

Ruh roh. Someone’s testy this morning. How does one know if a person is working to sustain salvation, unless they tell you? Asking for a friend.

When someone creates a thread “debunking” eternal security, that person is working to maintain salvation.Just a simple question. Can't you answer it?
divineDo you know what the word divinity means?
