why does anyone pay much attention to what politicians say anyway. They never make any sense.

That's fine. Some people don't like my humor. Besides, there's been a hundred jokes in the Whitehouse the last couple years. It does get old.
If your Dad's around to read that, ask him if he thinks it's funny.
I think dads like sarcastic humor and parody a little more than ladies, on average. Ie. The Far Side, Babylon Bee.
More than half of his children are hopeless addicts, criminals and slimy grifters.
Most of my news comes from semi-pro alarmists - on the job, on the forum, at church, etc - who seem to get off on crying wolf a lot.
I don't take any of it seriously though. I just tune in for entertainment.
