I'm not sure if you are talking about wolves here or Pastors that have some growing up to do so it's hard to engage further.
They're everywhere; wherever you find someone who thinks they're "special" and wants others to see them as special you'll find a spiritual elitist. If they don't think normal rules of sound Bible interpretation apply to them they're a spiritual elitist.
For example, KJV onlyists are elitist. They don't care about good Bible interpretation, only in what the KJV says. Another example I came across recently is from so-called apostle Bill Hamon. In one of his videos he teaches that tongues in the greatest gift of the Holy Spirit there is; but this clearly isn't the case. If you want to put tongues on a scale scripturally, it's next to last. But does this matter to Hamon? Of course not; he's special and has a direct line to God.
