Does it actually give God glory if you confess that Jesus is less than being God.
This should make it easy: all who believe Jesus is God just write it out.

I believe Jesus is God.
I believe Jesus is God :)

This is an importatnt issue, because Jesus said that if you do not know that I am He, you will die in your sins.

He was speaking to the Pharisees at the time who knew exactly Whom He was referring to.

So much so, they wanted to stone Him for blasphemy, for making Himself equal with God.

“We are not stoning You for any good work,” said the Jews, “but for
blasphemy, because You, who are a man, declare Yourself to be God.”
John 10:33

Because of this, the Jews tried all the harder to kill Him. Not only was He breaking the
Sabbath, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.
John 5:18

Who said you “need to answer my question according to Scripture “?

I have ZERO problem saying Jesus Christ is God.
Emmanuel- GOD WITH US!! One of Jesus’s very Name.
I won’t shy away from that declaration one speck.

The question is why NOT say it!?

I don’t know a single Christian online or in person that fears saying Jesus is God. Why do you?
Maybe you shouldn’t be so demanding and set your expectations a certain way. If someone follows the words of the Bible, like myself, it’s going to frustrate denominationalists.

I say, do, and believe what the Bible specifically says and it’s amazing you still have a problem with it.

It’s true when the prophet said a day would come when people would be so confused that they call evil good and good evil.

Anyway, I’ve humored you long enough so I’ll be resuming my normal Bible discussions.

Except when you don't. Like saying unbaptized people's bodies will not resurrect, or that Jesus said baptism was righteousness.

The Bible says Jesus is God.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was
with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made
that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light
shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory,
the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Jesus literally resurrected. Baptism is required to have a resurrection like Jesus. This is very plain.

Romans 6
3Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
5For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.

or that Jesus said baptism was righteousness.
John said he needs to be baptized by Jesus and Jesus said let it be so. Water baptism is righteousness.

Matthew 3
13Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. 14But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?”
15Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented.

Do you know what the word logos means? Did you know John 1 is a parallel of Genesis 1 where God created things with spoken words?

You put words in Jesus' mouth and claim it was written when it was not.

Jesus did not say baptism was righteousness. It is nowhere in that verse you quoted, and nowhere else in Scripture either.

Jesus allowed Himself to be baptized to fulfill all righteousness. He did not say baptism is righteousness.

Your subtle and not-so-subtle twisting of the Truth of God's Word does not go unnoticed.

You’re wrong. What was necessary to fulfill righteousness was the righteous act of baptism. John’s water baptism of repentance was a command from heaven and Jesus obeyed it because obeying God is righteousness.

All righteousness is more than just the water baptism though. Jesus did much more and in the end was obedient until his last breath. When he said “it is finished” is when all righteousness had been fulfilled by Jesus.

Keep ignoring this Verse I don't really care but God does because you are denying Who He is!

Jesus is God and Saviour!

Peter walked with Jesus Every day for 3 years, Paul did not.

Peter knows better than Paul Who Jesus is, God and Saviour!
Here is what Peter thought:

Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

That's all I'm going to say. I know the forum rules.

What was necessary to fulfill righteousness was obedience. Jesus was under the law. He had to obey every aspect of it.
We being buried with Christ share in His perfect obedience and thus share in His perfect righteousness.
People have 2 choices. They can present themselves to God in their own merit or be presented to God by Christ.
One has the most unfortunate and horrible of results. The other the most desirable and delightful.
Baptism is an outward act of obedience and faith to represent what has become true of us inwardly.

If you don't know more than you did 15 years ago you are not learning and Peter shows us he is learning.

It was more than His opinion. It is the testimony of God.

All priests were to be ritually cleansed in a purification ceremony, a consecration before Divine service :)

Jesus is our high priest :D
