Tin foil, like many products, is in short supply due to supply line problems. Many are turning to plastic wrap but people see right through what they are doing.

Earthquakes are tectonic shifting. Literally nothing to be done about it
That doesn't explain an extraordinary increase of 1,000% in 50 years. Tectonic shifts are powered by internal activity in our core. There is nothing in our theory that would explain this rapid and astounding increase. The only other force that could impact this on this scale would be gravitational impact from other bodies in space. There is a connection with solar activity but the sun is not on a 50 year cycle. You can't correlate this increase to solar activity.

Also already had this conversation but I'll say it again. The brain chip thing isn't going to happen unless people volunteer for it, which they probably won't
I had this debate with my sister about Trans kids. I said you would get kids raped in the school bathrooms and that you would have kids doing this to get full ride scholarships in college. She blew a couple of gaskets. But within months we saw both take place. Kids were turned down for scholarships on the boys team but told if they were "trans" they would get a full ride scholarship for the girls teams in college. We also had kids raped in the bathroom in HS and JHS.

She was talking out her rear end, I was a HS teacher and knew exactly what I was talking about.

"People probably won't volunteer for it". This is a joke, do you know how easy it is to motivate them? Put people into abject poverty, already we have more than enough of those, and then offer them Food, Housing, Clothing and a good paycheck if they join the military to be a cyborg. Done.

Soon you can do the same thing in other professions. Police, Doctors, Firefighters, etc. At first it can come with a nice paycheck and a bunch of benefits like platinum health care.

If you manufacture a great depression and this is the only option to get a job and not see your family starve to death you will get all the volunteers you need. Again, they have already said they are good with 7.5 billion people dying. It is win/win. If you die the government scores big. It is a big tax payoff when someone dies and this is how Germany financed a whole lot of their operation, putting Jews into the camps and taking their houses, possessions and bank accounts. They don't care if 85% say no.

Road trip thing isn't even happening. It's just something Elon musk was talking about.
He has his own problems right now like tanking his own stocks after having purchased Twitter for way more than it's worth
The microchip thing however has been in research for at least the past two decades. It could potentially help people who have had stroke or brain injuries by replacing damaged parts of the brain
The cyborg thing is a stretch

It doesn't matter if they put it in you to help with a stroke or injury, you are still a cyborg. It isn't a stretch, it is a stated objective of a billionaire who runs a company that does this.

No. There's no evidence that implanting a chip will turn someone into a cyborg. You've been watching too many Sci-Fi movies

Definition of cyborg -- physical abilities are extended beyond normal human limitations by mechanical elements built into the body.

If I can immediately communicate with my brain to a supercomputer then my physical abilities are extended beyond normal.

By your own admission helping people with a stroke by implanting a chip makes them a cyborg.

Well there's no evidence that a microchip will increase physical abilities
America is the only "developed" country in the world that has such a disdain for science.
Remember when people were saying the hadron collider was going to summon demons?
This is why America will eventually lose its position as a world superpower as the rest of the developed world excels and we return to the Dark ages

What are you talking about? If your brain is directly linked to a supercomputer you could see images from drones sent to your brain from the computer. You could ask the computer a question and it would answer it, your memory would become enhanced, your senses would be enhanced, and you could immediately communicate with the computer to call in the calvary, etc. Elon Musk considers us all as "cyborgs" because our smart phone is enhancing our abilities.

If you saw a person's face the computer could immediately identify who it is. If you heard someone talking the computer could immediately identify who it is.

Instead of having to sit down with a police sketch artist you could simply print out a picture of the person you saw.

How do you say anything unless your eyes are looking at it? That's not how vision works
Ask for elon, as I mentioned earlier he is gradually bankrupting himself because his stocks are tanking

You have not been watching the videos where they describe the technology. The computer can read your brain, it can see what your eyes see, it can hear what your ears hear, and it can know what you are thinking and speaking. Not only so but it is two way, so it sees what you see and it can send you images that you will be able to see, etc. Your brain will be linked to the supercomputer via wifi, just like your phone.

Except for the part where none of this is going to actually happen

This is what I appreciate about you. Even though you have been wrong over and over and over again, every time you called something a tin foil hat conspiracy, you are batting a thousand and yet you don't shy away from getting back up on that horse. Kudos to you. Most other people cannot withstand being wrong so often. You should consider running for public office, the only person better than you at this is Joe Biden.

. No. Your argument is just the classic slippery slope fallacy
Also unless you're psychic and can read the future you have no way of knowing if I'm wrong about my opinion.
We have satellite cameras right now that can read the barcode on a pizza box from outer space. This computer leak thingy is completely unnecessary

We have cruise missiles that can be launched from New York and put through a football on Post in california. That's how accurate they are. So this computer link thing you're talking about will never be necessary

Nobody is ever putting a chip in my brain.
First they'd have to find my brain.
Nuff said.

Yes, the idea is that we will have glaciers melt and sea level rise. If glaciers are melting then we would see sea level rise. Since we are not seeing sea level rise that undermines the theory that glaciers are melting.
Global sea level has been rising over the past century, and the rate has increased
in recent decades. In 2014, global sea level was 2.6 inches (67 mm) above the 1993
average—the highest annual average in the satellite record (1993-present). Sea level
continues to rise at a rate of about one-eighth of an inch (3.2 mm) per year.

Higher sea levels mean that deadly and destructive storm surges push farther inland
than they once did, which also means more frequent nuisance flooding. Disruptive
and expensive, nuisance flooding is estimated to be from 300 percent to 900 percent
more frequent within U.S. coastal communities than it was just 50 years ago.

I would say some conservatives have a distrust of some science, that is true, but then they are looking for biblical end-times so they have to be distrusting.

Evangelicals are constantly being manipulated for some reason, I am thinking cause they think it is wrong to be rational.

Yes and nuclear power can do so much good, no one sells nuclear based on how many it can kill, but ask yourself where was the money put and the research done to figure out how to split the atom? If they are rolling this out to people who have suffered strokes now you can be sure the military has already tested this out for soldiers.
