americans dont have a good grasp on what the Monarchy actually means to the people of Britain.

megahn did show she was quite clueless about it when she married but then Harry didnt clue her in on everything. He himself doesnt really seem to understand what it all means. I can understand he just wants to be a regular guy but...he cant. Hes priveliged and that comes with responsibilty, even if just being a 'spare'. if not that its the brotherhood that suffers.

Princess Margaret had similar difficulties with her sister. And dont forget that George would never have been king if his brother had not abdicated.
I was once working with a company that was interested in doing business in Europe or India or somewhere like that and the boss was telling me that he had to go through Charles (who was acting on the Queen's behalf) and that he might actually get to meet him personally.

And as I was talking to him about it all I was somewhat shocked....I, like most Americans, once believed that the Royals basically didn't do anything....but he set me straight.

He was straight up though. Told me that this was intentional because of the media...they don't report anything worthwhile...just any scandal they can imagine. (Which is all we hear about)

So most people don't really know what the Royals do on a daily basis. But they do know everyone and are fully aware of every function of the government because they usually tour most facilities in every town at some point. William even did a stint in the military.

Meghan is the racist. With a capital R. It isn't just about the royals. She insulted my whole country continuosly.
She hates us and made no attempt to hide her contempt.
No one in this country knew she was "black" until she started banging on about it. Who could tell by looking at her?

She was given a fairy-tale wedding most women can only dream of, all paid for, but it wasn't good enough.
She was given a house. All she did was complain, drive long-serving members off staff out of their jobs with her rude,
obnoxious behaviour. She is a manipulative, narcissist liar.

Some people like being victims of racism because they can make a living out of that industry.
They want to be victims of "racism" but must manufacture because it doesn't exist to the extent they NEED it to.

Some people have real problems. Migraine Markle is a con-artist.
The Royal family accepted that ghastly woman graciously. A future king walks you down the isle at your wedding and you
have the bare-faced front to call him a "racist"? Not rational. It was she who didn't accept them. She had no intention of
being part of that family.
Just asking because I'm curious. Do you work for the royals and witnessed this first hand? Or did you hear about it on the news or read a tabloid? I noticed you disagree and disliked two of my posts when neither post was bad just stating what I had read in first part of the book and the differences between two cultures.

You really don't know me and the fact that my Dna is 85% British we might have relatives in common back in the gene pool. I won't apologize for being a hugger of people as i don't feel that is a bad trait to have.

Guess I am surprised there was such a negative reaction that's all.

Princess Diana famously made a speech about hugs. And she wasnt american.

Over all I like the royal family I just don't understand the stiff upper lip and hardly any displays of affection in the family anyway.

The only thing pertaining to Harry from the freemasons is the curses on his life since he is not the heir.

I wouldnt think Harry and Meg would be the types to get directly involved with freemasonry themselves. But who knows. If anyone has read his book does he ever mention it?

If so, then the freemasons can just as easily get rid of people by sending them on dangerous missions or making things look like accidents. You dont put anything past a freemason.

Are people worried that Harry and William would come to blows over this? Fratricide has been known to happen, its as old as Cain vs Abel.
I finished the first part today and no he has not mentioned it in the first 119 pages which is where I'm at. The section I just finished was when he was young, his mother dying and him going through school and his basic training in the army.

Sure.

We're also free to have an opinion.
why have an opinion over something you not that interested in tho
waste of time really...

Harry can have an opinion, hes got a brain and a mouth and can write a book about himself if he wants. Most celebs do as its easier for a celeb to be published, especially with a ghost writer.

Everyone can have a testimony too if they are a believer.

Well I am glad you did not paint all Americans with the Meghan Markle brush. That was my concern, that she exemplified the absolute worst in the stereotypes of Americans.

No they do a heap of engagments and are very busy. They are like cultural ambassadors. They dont just do public air kissing like celebs in america do.

The press in UK can be vicious though. Fleet street has always been known for muckraking. They have a 'page six' which is basically a nude pin up that gets printed every day.

Paps also get paid a huge bounty for stories with photos. Theyre kind of like what TMZ is in thhe US. Royals also have their own reporters and comms teams.

If think you'd have to wonder if Lucy knows MM the way she's banging on about who the woman is.

Here is what those two -- Harry and Meghan -- are doing: (1) promoting Wokeism and all Leftist causes while (2) trying to garner sympathy for themselves with a "poor me" attitude, and (3) then use both to sell books and make money while staying in the limelight.

Queen Elizabeth made a huge mistake by giving them titles, and then she compounded that mistake by failing to take the titles back when they started their shenanigans. And there is no question that poor immature Harry is under the spell of manipulative Meghan.
My take on the first 119 pages is that Harry is trying to explain that he was a child in need of affection at the time his mother died in a family that doesn't really show affection and has been hounded by the press since he was born and he is trying to bring that to light. His mother died trying to get away from the press that was chasing her in the tunnel causing the car wreck that killed her.

He liked being in the army because the press couldn't get to him like they could when he was outside the army.

Harry doesn't want to whine he wants the press to be respectful which they aren't. Harry understands they want pictures and stories but he doesn't understand the lies they tell and the palace letting them get away with it.

My take is he is fed up with it and wanted out of the constant press intrusion.

? I realize everything I say lol

If you feel its important, you can say it....everyone can have a say. Not everything will always be positive though. The royals though are quite used to being fawned over, as are many celebs.

The thing about royalty is much of the drama is kind of petty stuff people make a big deal of thats not that important like what oufits they are wearing.

It's like I said I'd be scandalous with my hugging. The first family I married into really didn't hug until I came in and started hugging everyone. By the time first husband and I got divorced they had come around and liked my hugging and expected them and gave them back... People can change.

unfortunately the press like scandal and feed on it and often tell lies ..and plain make things up or spin things.

In the Uk they dont have a broadcasting auhorities standard or press council that can stop that. It makes too much money for some people.

Fergies new book is called 'My heart for a compass' and its like a romance chicklit.

Meghans book is a picture book called 'The Bench' which I read inside a minute and nobody bought it in the bookshop. Sweet effort but why anyone child would want to read it I dont know. It was like she just wrote it for her husband as it was addressed to him.

Royals arent the best at penning literature. What they should do is get a playwright or a screenwriter in and produce an official royal play which could be this centuries Shakespeare. Then everyone can pretend to be a royal.

Diana had a musical made of her life and it was shown on Netflix, and earned the worst picture Raspberry. It wasnt that bad. However the part of Harry was played by a doll.
The ghost writer Harry has is a good one and the book is well written so far and can't imagine it's going to change in the other two parts I still need to read.

my family isnt a huggy family either
but we had pets.
Also, when I started working in schools children would come up to me and hug me at random. I think Diana was a real people person but the royals get trained to put distance between them and outsiders.

Its protocol to curtsey etc I dont know where that comes from but they dont want people getting too close cos of assasination attempts etc. They have royal protection officers like US presidents have secret service agents. Basically bodyguards.

I think the danger is with kidnapping attempts with their children that has always been the thing with celebs when people think they are so rich that they would pay a ransom...but royals dont usually carry money on them nor allowed to spend lavishly as its public, taxpayer money and there would be a huge outcry.

But if H and M are now independent they can spend whatver they like if they earn their own money. They just find that security is going to be very expensive and servants hard to come by thats all.

Makes me sad for the royals that have to deal with it not just Harry but all of them.
