I started the new year, with mixed feelings. Joy and sorry. My daughter is still estranged and after trying to enjoy the Christmas celebrations my son almost lost his life. I cried out to God why are you taking all my kids from us...I went on a fast, which we normally do first month of the year. I decided now to write all my cares, worries, fears, dreams to God, my swimming pool of tears. Every area of my life. I am weary of knocking, asking and seeking.. I am really tired. I will put everything in a basket leave it at God's feet, walk away and continue living my life for Christ, without the burdens. I have to move on and accept the things I cannot change even if it is very painful..It hurts because I Love God and chase after him. I am a believer. Praying for everyone for 2023..

I think all of us who have children feel this way , I know I do...I am a mother of six , and grandmother of 17 , and have shed many tears to our Lord over my unsaved children / grandchildren...But I will not give up , for I have seen God working on the hearts of my lost family , and one thing for sure , if I did before seeing my unsaved children/grandchildren saved , I know the seed has been planted , and Gods word does not come back void...We plant , He does the growing...

Almost everybody that I actually know in real life, as opposed to just online interactions with people, is desperately lost. Many of them are my own family members. I've shared the gospel with them all in the past, and they've all willfully rejected it thus far. As painful as that is, I still pray for them all each and every day, AND I continue to try to reach others with the gospel of Christ. After all, I may be ministering to those whom other Christians are grieving over, and I may, by God's grace, be an answer to their prayers.

Keep the faith, and go for souls.

John 4

35Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. 36And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. 37And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. 38I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.

aw

one thing, why would God take your kids from you? He doesnt do that. Dont blame God for that, its probably more of a thing Satan would do to test you for wager just like he did Job. God allows things cos He knows youre a believer and will pass that test because your redeemer lives.

Abraham obeyed God and gave up his son he loved the most to be sacrificed. The angels stopped him and God knew Abraham was willing to obey. For all parents, in the OT the firstborns belonged to God as an offering anyway and only a sacrifice could buy them back. Jesus is now our sacrifice, so the way it works now is we just offer up our children to him (Jesus never refuses a child) and bless them. They are free to make their own choices in life but whatver they have or will make we have blessed them anyway. Children are not a burden...give them to Jesus.

You have the Peace of God in you through the Holy Spirit...Here is Scripture also...
And the peace of God who passes all our understanding , will guard our hearts and mind in Christ Jesus...The thing is , what we tend to do , is lay all our cares at the Lords feet , because we are told to cast all our cares , and sometimes after doing that , we pick them up again ...Let us trust in our Lord and His promises , and let us let go of anything that is to heavy , for only He can change things Amen...

Imho, there is nothing in this fallen world more powerful than a mothers prayer!
May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may his face shine upon you!
