if i'm not mistaken (and that's always a very real possibility), that type of plant is found only in Australia.

I wasn't sure if they had them in America as well. It was something that was on facebook. That is a manicured one, they actually look alot messier than that.

Perhaps it was site maintenance and/or upgrades. New year is a common time for those.
I found what a big part of my Christian walk is in the interactions with you wonderful brothers and sisters.
