Luke 12:11-12
New King James Version
11 “Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. 12 For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”
Would you kindly explain what the Bible is talking about here if it is not the elect
I say
First off No one was saved here ------there was no elect ----God The Father told Jesus who He was to pick for his Disciples ==here Jesus is speaking mainly to His Disciples in your Scripture----His Disciples are not Saved ----Jesus came under the Old Testament Laws -----the Holy Spirit did not appear here until after Jesus died ------
I say --------This scripture you Quote has nothing to do with the end times -------this is warning the Disciples about the trouble they will face after His death with the Pharisees -----
So what your doing is just taking one piece of Scripture and saying the Holy Spirit will tell me what to say to the AntiChrist in the end times ------and this is not what this Scripture is saying al all --------your taking the Scripture OUT OF ITS CONTEXT and trying to make it say that the HOLY SPIRIT will tell you what to say to the anti-christ ------in the end times ------
I say =====
So I challenge you to Provide me a Scripture that actually says the the Holy Spirit will tell ALL Believers what to say to the anti-christ during the 7 year Tribulation --------
I thank you in advance for your Scripture answer ---
I say ---
This is the whole piece of Scripture you quoted ---the Context -- of scripture you quoted ---
So to understand what Jesus is talking about here you need to Go back to Luke 11 verse 53and 54 below here -------
This gives you the reason Jesus is talking to His Disciples about being on their guard when it comes to the Pharisees questing them after He is Crucified and the Holy Spirit comes upon them ------they can expect to be questioned and persecuted by the Pharisees in the synagogue and Jesus is telling them to Rely on the Holy Spirit for their answers -----
So here it is -------Luke 11 ESV
53 When Jesus went out,
the teachers of the law and the Pharisees began to give him much trouble. They tried to make him answer questions about many things.
54 They were trying to find a way to catch Jesus saying something wrong.
Luke 12 AMPC
12 In the meanwhile, when so many thousands of the people had gathered that they were trampling on one another,
Jesus commenced by saying primarily to His disciples, Be on your guard against the leaven (ferment) of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy [producing unrest and violent agitation].
2 Nothing is [so closely] covered up that it will not be revealed, or hidden that it will not be known.
3 Whatever you have spoken in the darkness shall be heard
and listened to in the light, and what you have whispered in [people’s] ears and behind closed doors will be proclaimed upon the housetops.
4 I tell you, My friends, do not dread
and be afraid of those who kill the body and after that have nothing more that they can do.
5 But I will warn you whom you should fear: fear Him Who, after killing, has power to hurl into hell (Gehenna); yes, I say to you, fear Him!
6 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And [yet] not one of them is forgotten
or uncared for in the presence of God.
7 But [even] the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be struck with fear
or seized with alarm; you are of greater worth than many [flocks] of sparrows.
8 And I tell you, Whoever declares openly [speaking out freely]
and confesses that he is My worshiper
and acknowledges Me before men, the Son of Man also will declare
and confess
and acknowledge him before the angels of God.
9 But he who disowns
and denies
and rejects
and refuses to acknowledge Me before men will be disowned
and denied
and rejected
and refused acknowledgement in the presence of the angels of God.
10 And everyone who makes a statement
or speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit [that is, whoever [
a]intentionally comes short of the reverence due the Holy Spirit], it will not be forgiven him [for him there is no forgiveness].
11 And when they bring you before the synagogues and the magistrates and the authorities, do not be anxious [beforehand] how you shall reply in defense or what you are to say.
12 For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour and [b]moment what [you] ought to say.
