There is nothing ironic about this young man having a cardiac arrest and almost dying. But what is ironic is the reaction by the football players. I have been in many games where players were hurt, I'm sure every single NFL player has seen other players carted off the field. You don't cry when someone gets hurt, you don't suspend the game. But this was different and the irony was how the announcers admitted it was different but wouldn't say why. It is "he that must not be named".
This was different because every football player knew what it was and they also knew that they had also been vaxxed and boosted. That was what made this different. Everyone knows it, no one will say it, and that is the irony.
There is no way this was the same thing as a high school baseball player being hit with fast ball. This guy had a physical before the team drafted him and probably every year since. He is 24, in peak physical condition, no record of heart condition, and he was boosted a couple of days before the game. But don't you dare make any reference to that.
