1) Well, your approach is Scripturally wrong... period...You make up your mind before you see the evidence!
2) My approach is found in 1Thess 5v19-21
Why not do it God's way and NOT your way!
Oh wow, so your approach is more mechanical? Like a programmed machine?
If a false prophet tells you a conspiracy you just sit there and start checking to make sure that they may be correct?
They could tell you “The apocalypse is coming tomorrow”
So then, you sit there and you start checking to make sure.
Then The next guy says the same thing.
You again sit there and start checking.
This could take you hours during the day.
When do you have time to eat, sleep and pray?
Why would you approach this like a programmed robot?
God gave us all reasoning and common sense.
Also, what would we gain if prophecy ends up to be true?
For me it be be relief and joy.
I would say : Finally! He has returned !
So unless it happens I won’t be happy basically.
I am happy with the Now.
Why do some people like to predict the future and why do some others like you want to “fact check them”?
Is it a question of free-will or something else?
Also, there are a few people in this forum alone making false prophecies every day which didn’t come true.
I didn’t see you interact with them scripturally to “Check” if they might be wrong.
How come?
