My dad (not Christian) used to live next door to a Jehovah witness, we'll call him Bob.
For years Bob would come over to my dad's house to share his satanic gospel. For those of you who don't know, JW's deny the deity of Christ and the gospel of grace, among other things. It's a works based religion, hence the door knocking...
Anyway, quite often Bob would come over when I was there and sometimes I would even get sucked into debating various topics with him. On one occasion it became clear to me that I wasn't going to be able to help Bob and debating is always a fruitless endeavor so I quietly waited for him to finish and leave but ole' Bob just couldn't resist I guess. He tried to give me some watchtower material. I declined and with a smile informed Bob that I am Christian, born of Spirit, It's literally impossible for me to become a Jehovah witness. This rattled Bob a bit, he forcefully began to claim, "I'm Christian too..." then stopped and backpedaled into some gibberish about the trinity being false...
Finally I said, Bob let me ask you a few questions.
Me: Would you say all false religions are of satan?
Bob: Yes.
Me: Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Voodoo, Witchcraft, Satanism etcetera?
Bob: Yes, of course.
Me: Do you know what they all have in common? They can all be refined to a common point, they all share a gospel of works. The Christian gospel is the only of it's kind, the only gospel that claims salvation is completely and utterly of the Lord.
Bob seemed slightly perturbed, I think he made the connection. We all exchanged pleasantries then he walked across the street to his house and suffered a massive stroke. He eventually recovered from the stroke but remains a JW.
What's the moral of the story? Help those you can. Resist debates, they're rarely fruitful, especially if they hate the true God and His gospel. However, If you find yourself engaged with a JW, a Muslim or any works gospel spewer and if you eventually grow weary of their blasphemy simply give them this bone to chew: All satanic gospels require action of man to earn salvation. The true God and the true gospel requires faith and even that is a gift so no man may boast.

air seems like Jesus is saying “ by your works your going to be judged “

Wow it seems like Jesus is actually teaching people to repent of doing evil , and instead to do good for other people.
what about Paul he must have taught something different than eternal judgement according to works

render to every man according to his deeds: to them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

aim not sure Satan teaches people that they need to repent of doing evil and do good because they are going to be judged that seems like something he wouldn’t want anyone to realize so they lived life thinking “it doesn’t matter what I do I’ll never be judged by what I do “
maybe God has been telling man what to do and they will live all along , and maybe man’s been rejecting it all along and the answer is for us to hear what God said will save our souls ?
maybe that’s Gods grace that teaches us what not to do and what to do ? Maybe “ grace “ should be teaching people how to live right and to be zealous of good works ?
“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.”

I’m pretty sure Satan is always going to teach the opposite of what God said will save mankind positive actually because he doesn’t want people to be saved and knows “ if I can get them to ignore what God is telling them will save them they won’t be saved “
Jesus Christ preached
the only gospel that’s going to save anyone and he teaches a lot about what we need to stop doing and what we need to start doing
If you want to say “ that’s working to earn salvation “ it’s sort of up to you but either way you also one day have to stand before Jesus and give an answer for everything you’ve ever done and said
a you should at the very very least accept this teaching of Jesus who’s going to be the judge you face
“Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

faith is when you hear Gods word and don’t reject it

At the very least you should accept that but then the philosophy “ no action o do will Matter “ sort of falls out the window so it’s hard really hard to acknolwedge it for those who buy into the hypergrace distortion explaining “ Jesus didn’t understand salvation what he said isnt for you , you just do nothing your saved by some other gospel called the word “ grace “ you don’t need to do anything Jesus said to do baptism ? Nope a work of man , repent ? Nope that’s a work we walk by faith we don’t need to hear and obey God were already saved , eterbal judgement according to your works ? No no no way well Never have to answer for our deeds to God that’s not grace we’re saved by grace
it’s just so transparent how could anyone ever fall for doctrine insisting “ don’t believe thy gospel Jesus taught and said is eternal and will save anyone who needs and believes “
It’s just such an achoe of satans only plot “ if I can get them away from hearing Gods word , they’ll never know what he said will save them “ it’s always been his plot since Eden
